Cosplay for 2008

This'll be my first Fanime. I'll be going as the Team Fortress 2 Medic.

... though I'll also have the Spy with me in case I'm in a stabby mood.  ;D

I'll be cosplaying at Haruhi Suzumiya again like last year.
A new cosplay I'll be doing is Flaming Hair and Blazing Eyes (shana with red hair)
from Shakugan no Shana.  My friend will be going as just Shana with black hair.  Shes wearing the summer school uniform while I'll be wearing the winter one.

I never thought I'd like those school mini skirts as much as I do now.

I'm currently weighing two potential choices. For the first option, I'm thinking of Okita Sogo from Gintama. However, as Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull comes out the day before Fanime starts, I'm sorely tempted to take a break from anime cosplay and simply cosplay as Indy instead (Lord knows we get enough of the 501st every year).

I'll probably do a random shinigami from Bleach, besides my Mario cosplay, that way i'll have something to wear to the B/W ball.

Well as things stand now I've had to cancel Lina Inverse for budget reasons...sigh.

My list is currently
Nuriko (Fushigi Yuugi) from last year
Sophie (Howl's Moving Castle) didn't finish in time for last year
Tsunade (Naruto) I love the character and I want to be part of a gathering...darn it.   :P
Possibly Akane from Ranma 1/2...but that's still up for debate.

Ah, this is new. So it turns out I might end up not doing some of the cosplays I was going to, and I may or may not be being Kalifa instead. A couple of my friends have been getting me back into One Piece and they're talking about doing a CP9 group, but I don't know if they mean for Fanime 08, or another con, or another year.....she would be easy enough, I probably have half the things I need already, but....yeah. I dunno. To be honest, I'd like to be Luffy sometime. And Sanji, but that's going to have to wait until I get more flexible, 'cause I really want to be able to pose for pictures with my leg straight up. Or as straight as possible. Getting off topic, shutting up now  :-X
