Summer 2007 Anime

Summer season's coming up. Shows will start premiering in another 2-3 weeks. I figure it's time to do some research and figure out which shows I'll be watching or at least checking out. And why not make a thread to discuss with everyone?

First thing's first, moetron has a list of shows premiering this season.

Things I'm definitely watching (doesn't necessarily mean I'll see them through to completion):
-Nanatsuiroâ˜...Drops
-School Days (<3 Setsuna)
-Moetan
-Doujin Work
-Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai
-Zero no Tsukaima ~Futatsuki no Kishi~

I'll check out:
-CODE-E
-Sky Girls TV
-ZOMBIE-LOAN

Might check out:
-Mushi-Uta
-Kenko Zenrakei Suieibu Umisho

Hmm, a lot of shows I know nothing about. I think I'm gonna have to take a "wait and see" approach with this, and just pick up whatever other people are going crazy about.

Of course the second Higurashi and the rest of Code Geass are automatically on my list just so I can finish them, and Moetan looks promising.

Gigazine has put up some screenshots from the Moetan anime. The shots actually look pretty nice.

Again I would like to reiterate how much 'do want!' I have for this series.

The overall list doesn't seem as monstrous as spring's... yet. As I learned from the past season, all watches will be on day by day basis. I will watch what I can, while trying to catch up with what I have missed.

The other shows doesn't interest me as much.

I'll download nanatsuiro drops just to burn it into a dvd so I can add it to my "El Kuso: ~Eternal Days of Sh*t~" collection folder next to Tonagura, Final Fantasy unlimited and... *shiver* Ikkitousen.

Hahaha, FFU. I think the original FF anime was pretty bad too. Well, maybe not that bad. At least FFU had a neat OP theme.

Its not the greatest but not the worst...

The fact that the guys are the most interesting part of the show is what makes it oh so wrong yet somewhat enjoyable.
But putting such things aside, it's kinda easy to hate on, in a fun way (sometimes)............like Shamal.
