I don't mind sub or dub, but if you have ever tried watching english dub and with the sub titles on there can be a big difference in what is being said on some anime. Whole sentences mixed, any way only some anime is like that. Aside from that either is fine with me.

sub, because i laugh too much at the horrible, horrible voices of the the dubbed
ther are some dubbed i don't mind, like card captors, gundam wing...and some miyazaki films.

I know that most of you don't like DUB or will lie to themselves and say that you like both and then go watch SUB :!: (ya I said it, you posers!  :D ) , but read this thread.  It makes some very good points for DUB anime, some that you might want to read.  Let DUB reign supreme!

Reina

I think I prefer subs to dubs. but either doesn't matter too much to me... as long as it's a good dub. ... yea....
[size=9]a sig??
what's the point of putting down a sig?

Subs, unless I have no choice whatsoever.

Subs always, I avoid dubs like the plague.

Jehuty

I like Anime the way I like my cartoons generally, dubbed.
PRO-DUB
ENGLISH, Mother%@#!-er, DO YOU SPEAK IT?!

I'm of two minds in regards to this argument. There are plenty of dubs that are very near and dear to my heart, and there are some dubs that suck butt so the subs are superior. *shrug* Most of the time it depends on what I see first.
In mammals, Sucrose is digested in the stomach, into its component sugars, by acidic hydrolysis. The Glucose and Fructose are then absorbed into the bloodstream in the small intestine. (Lactose just isn't cool enough to enter into it.)

Subbed. Azumanga in dubbed form = Ms. Yukari teaching a Spanish class = do not want.

But if watching it dubbed doesn't alter the plotline, and the voice acting is good, I'll give dubs a shot.

I tend to prefer my anime subbed, although the dubs I've experienced aren't terrible (barring, maybe, my first experience with Negima). Ranma ½ enjoys a rather nice dub job, but the subtitled episodes tend to not only stay truer to the original episode's intentions, but to the manga as well, provided there was one.
I still have yet to watch enough anime to fully decide, but for the most part, this is what I follow.
Haven't been here much since '09. I said some stupid, stupid things before (and after) that.

Ohhh.... I watch subs, but sometimes... I can sit down and giggle at a dub... Simply because I need a good laugh every now and then...

But then again, there are some Japanese voice acting that I've heard that still give me the giggles...

It all really depends how well the lies are told...

got's to love it when it's dubbed. especially when the dubbing is intentionally horrible. like shin chan or MXC. any anime that talks about viagra and shows someone taking a dump in the same 7-minute episode just flat out WINS. you can't dispute me there

Dubs are often fun for their comedic value, I'll admit. The Hellsing dub has some great lines:

Alucard, when receiving his new gun: "Walter, IT'S PERRRRFECT!!" The way he says it is just hilarious.

Also, Anderson has an Irish accent! It's hilarious as all hell!

I'll stick with subs.  Want a good example of why?

"It's over nine thousand!   NINE Thousand!!!"  lulz.

Comedic dub = FUTAE NO KIWAMI AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH

I'm actually pretty loose on dubs. But since the American voice actors for anime are not as high in the rankings of English voice actors in general, you can't really blame people for not enjoying the dub (meanwhile, the Japanese voice actors of anime are the best in the seiyuu business.) I usually watch the dubbed version first, then subtitled.

J comes over and translates all my anime for me. Kinda like what someone would do for a blind man in a movie theater.
