What year is this for you

This year will make my 4th time, 3rd time attending for the entire weekend.  First time I went I only stayed for Saturday.  Overall it will make my 6th year of attending conventions (I attended JTAF the two years prior).

Second year doing Cosplay photoshoots!  :D

This will be my very first California con - so yeah, FANIME VIRGIN HERE!!! :D I've been to cons before but they were all pretty small except for ACEN in IL. I really don't know what to expect from Fanime ^.^

This is my first year going, and also my first convention. I'm from Chicago but the fact that Acen isn't what I want it to be this year at all... and An Cafe already has Fanime down as performing on their live schedule on their official website, I just can't pass up this convention. It seems like there's so much more to do at Fanime than there is to do at Acen from what I heard from my friends who went last year, so it just seems like a better choice.

I hope I'll have fun with my best friend when we're out there. =)

This will be my 2nd time at Fanime.  The last time I came was in 2005.  In 2006, my car's transmission broke so I couldn't come.  In 2007, I was in a car wreck a few weeks before the con and spent a few weeks nursing a sore back.  I had a wonderful time in 2005 and can't wait to come back.  There have been a lot of nice changes since I visited last time.

I'm going with more people too. Ever since I have showed pictures of cosplayers and what stuff happens during this con, more people have been interested in coming along.
