Yeah once you go to fanime, your entire year evolves around it. Sorry, but theres no way around it either, but thats a good thing. But hey, welcome to the forums.

That is SO true. XD  Ever since my first year at Fanime, almost all of my free time outside of school and work has been unconsciously dedicated to the con.  It's kind of sad, but not really. (I just totally contradicted myself. X3)

i hate to say it to but sometimes thats all my friends talk about i feel kinda bad but ahwell if they start a conversation about fanime im sure as hell not gona stop em

I don't actually know the exact first year I went, but it was a looong time ago, back when I was just a wee lass. I sure do miss Foothill. It was so nice to watch a few hours of anime and then go outside in the fresh air and sunshine and relax on the lawn for a while.

Fanime is nice, but im still true to my roots and supportin Acen!  If anyone is in the midwest the weekend before fanime and wants to shake hands with Sailor Bubba, go to Acen!  But yeah, lookin forward to a con where for once im not goin solo :)
