Ever heard of the butterfly effect? Basically, the noise and sound waves shifted the air currents ever so slightly, startling a colony of butterflies. Those butterflies took flight and altered the air currents further. These small changes created a snowball effect that traveled eastward. Eventually it ended up causing a huge storm. This storm raged over the Pacific Ocean and finally made it's way over California. The sheer size of the storm served to increase the electrical currents in the air. It was almost enough to cause lighting, but instead these currents traveled in the storm, and by your house. Thus, interacting with your eletrical wiring and your refridgerator, causing a short on the cold temperature gauge. In simple terms, it malfunctioned and made the air inside colder. Therefore, making your soda colder than normal. ;)
