Naruto Gathering 2008 Post your pictures now!

Almost 60 cosplayers signed up already!  :o Wow!!  We still have a few months to go, I think this gathering is really going to be fantastic!   ;D

How is the planning for Freeze Tag coming along? 

Satoshi-kun, I think you should come to the gatering!  It'll be fun to "ninja-fie" a pokemon trainer.  I think I could find and Akatsuki member who'd let you borrow their coat for a minute...heck maybe even my crazy Tsunade jacket.

Oh crap there's only THAT MANY DAYS LEFT!? I gotta go work now. I've been focused on studying for AP tests that cosplaying has slipped my mind. Time to take a break from studying! *goes off to sew*

Yay! I'm two steps closer to my female Choji cosplay!!!!!

I made Choji's headband and I'm working on the gloves! (I'm not wrapping my fingers, just putting the lines on a white pair of gloves)

Next task: The Scarf (BTW does anyone have any ideas on how to make Choji's white scarf girly? (NOT PINK))

Have you thought about using a silky type material and maybe adding some fringe at the bottom.  More like a silk aviators scarf?

I'm pleased to announce that I plan on donating five items for Naruto-style BINGO(Hosted & created by BrightHeart76 AKA Tsunade). It will be located at the table-top gaming room 11:00AM Sunday 5/25/2008. I'm also thinking about making laminated "It" signs for Naruto freeze tag.
Here are the updated Rules for Naruto Freeze Tag: 1)A 3-person squad will be "It". 2)After round one the last person to freeze will be "It" with their squad next round. 3)The squad that's "It" can only freeze players with their hand(s). 4)Players can only be defrosted by someone in their squad.
PS Is any one else willing to donate something(hopefully Naruto themed) for Naruto BINGO prizes?

Have you thought about using a silky type material and maybe adding some fringe at the bottom.  More like a silk aviators scarf?

I might do that but I was thinking about using a material that will be a bit stiffer so it stays up around my neck but I like the fringe idea, thanks BrightHeart!

Thank you to Narutotaku and Ree for donating prizes for Naruto Bingo, you are AWESOME.  All of the really detailed work is done for the game, just a few more steps, I think you guys will enjoy it.

Narutotaku, awesome work orgainizing freeze tag.  I'm hoping to laminate the bingo cards.  Let me know if you need me to laminate your "IT" signs as well. 

Do we still want to have some people walk around the convention area with a "follow me to the official Naruto gathering" signs?  If so, any volunteers?

As a final note MisterE has been puting together a group to do the caramelldansen dance during fanime.  It is open to all attendee's and will happen during our gathering.  It should be pretty quick and I think it would be a hoot to see a bunch of Narutards (I say that with love) doing the caramelldansen.  If you're comfortable taking part sign up on his link and practice your crazy caramelldansen dance.  I WILL be taking part.   ;D

I'm looking more and more forward to this gathering.  I think we're going to have a great time.

My friends and I are cosplaying as Punk Naruto, Sasuke, and Iruka.

Do ya have any pics? I'm curious to how it'll look like.

I'm not sure about the Iruka costume 'cause she's making it herself but I only have the drawn pictures for Sasuke's and Naruto's costume including with a list of clothing so it's only a drawing. I'm starting to make the Naruto costume.
