Hey, I know you guys say to wait, but I wanted to inquire about press passes.

I'd like to have all the info I need to submit so that I can get my editors to ok the trip down there. Will it be much like that of this years? Name, Company, distribution numbers?

Also, what other extras would I be able to get in on?

Thanks a lot for your time.
hmmm, what to say.....

The information required will most likely be the same as last year. The only thing changing is how strict we are on giving out passes (i.e. 'blogger with 10 site hits a year' won't get one ;)).

I'll consider "20" but you should already know the answer. ;)

Milton.. Can I get a press badge for reporting for the Fanime Website?

:) Please....

Tony

I'll speak for Milton and say No. Actually, we're going to make you pay to get in, even though you're staff.

Your only chance to get in for free is to start a website that gets 11+ hits and apply for a press badge.

I'm trying my luck here and submitted a request for a Press pass.

What are the chances of a LiveJournal community getting a pass? I'm one of the mods for the Seiyuu community on LJ and whether or not I can get a pass, I'll still be making a nice write-up after the con about this year's seiyuu guests, but it'd be cool if I could get like an interview with any of them to include in my report.

The comm has almost 2000 members and who knows how many non-member viewers. (Probably a lot though.) I understand an LJ community isn't really an established website but I was hoping to maybe be able to ask the guests some questions on behalf of members who can't make it to the con. I think they'd like that.
