C73 Discussion: The Good, The Bad, The What The Hell.

I made this thread to discuss possible gems and the like that came out of C73 recently, or Comic Market 73.

A notable thing is probably the touhou influx; see the RPG, Minigame, and SOUND HOLIC's animated version.

I won't talk about too much, but Sound Holic's Touhou Interpretation (As found on NICO NICO, as "TOUHOU SIDE STORY")... is really a piece of crap. All this gundam unrelated balances and the like simply made no sense. The only thing that kept me entertained? The comments. So epic.

Mai Kaze totally released a good trailer followup, and it will all but trump SOUND HOLIC's Non-Anti-Aliased effort.

hmm thus far on my take on c73...
The action is ok, but more and more I am seeing the use of x-ray, which I'm not a particularly big fan of.  4/5 are forced upon, but that'd be expected given the purchasing audience.

Too much meat.



Series wise, Touhou artists seem to take creative ways around the fact that the universe of the given series has almost no guys. Still need to check out the fft's and other than that, the entire lot is constantly plagued by the Hatsune Miko menace.

I would really like to see this but Jay F'd up my Nico account by logging me out when he was over and now I can't remember my password. This totally sounds like something I would like though.

Honestly I usually only look for Type-Moon stuff from Comiket and all 73 offers industry wise is a bunch of fate zero stuff. The new T-Moon Complex should be out though now that I think about it.

You know, the day I rep Touhou is the day I start liking anime that doesn't suck. For now though it's time to watch the last 4 eps of AYA.
