i did that like twice? the first time finished at 33, the 2nd time ended around 12.
you prolly saw me saturday night when i did it after finishing the tournies.

no problem on 3s. i had a lot of other flakes, so it wasn't anything unusual by that point. :)

Oh I was there for Brawl and 3S but not SC3 though.

Also, was 3S double elim? I lost my first brawl match then a friend called me and I ran from stage zero for my second match.

The roadbumps with japanvideogames were unfortunate but I learned from all of this and hopefully they will help us out next year if they return.

Chriss from Japan Video Games already told me they'd be back next year to work things out, and I'm going to be keeping in contact with them until then.  I may actually be going to AX this year since everyone wants me to go, so I can iron out a more solid sponsorship from then next year hopefully.

Well I'd personally like to thank JT for running the tourneys as well as he did. Even though he wasn't directly involved with AC ( I can't remember the name of the girl who was x.x ) it was probably the best run tourney I was in.

For those interested in who ran what tournament, I believe JT ran all but GG:AC, Beatmania, and Naruto 4.

Christal (I belive that's the right spelling since that's on the staff list, but David and JT spelled it differently) ran GG:AC

David ran the Beatmania one

I ran the Naruto 4 one (with lots of help since I was a newb at it)

Not that this has anything to do with much, but, DoA4 had a TV and console up for it at fanime (or at least on friday).

The thing is, Its M rated, and as noted in this thread, fanime was not going to have M rated games.

So I wonder, was it fanime who had DoA4 up or did someone bring a 360 there and set up, because I feel lied to.

Richard decided to cheat the system.  Next year it'll be confirmed, but yeah we had Halo set up for a while too.  He basically said whatever I don't care.  I promise this and PC gaming will happen next year.

can we actually follow policies this year?  letting all of the console copies of arcade games and CoD4 slide makes us look hypocritical.  That's a lot of face e-gaming loses if we don't start enforcing shit.

I don't see the problem really with CS versions of the stuff they bring for AC, at the very least tournaments are fine.  I think we just need to iron out the policy for next year.  As for mature gaming, we will have a solid policy next year that includes 17+ gaming.

Damn split-screen, non-MLG, "Lets play 4Player FFA on Headlong", have sound down to "0", retarded games. Seriously, half of the players there would be eaten alive online, or be playing Infection and becoming one with the n00b fold...

Anyways...The "setting up a M rated table" idea sounds like the way to go. It will be easier to monitor the games. And lets face it, theres more than enough room.
