Locals?

Well.. are there actually any people going to the con who live in San Jose or Santa Clara, or somewhere nearby?
Anyone attend Wilcox, Santa Clara High, Cabrillo, Peterson, Or Buchser? :3

I'm going with school friends to the con, but I was just thinking how neat it would be to meet someone who lives nearby.

I live about 30-35 mins away and most of the Fanimafia live in the South Bay area. Come to the gatherings that we hold so you can meet them. :3

I live about 15 minutes fromt he Con so I'm pretty close.

I'm about a 15-30 minute drive depending on who is driving (I drive freaking slow, mommy drives like... yeah.)
:3 But a drive to San Jose is only for the weekends.

WOW, 6-7 hours. I never thought I would be local, but I guess it's true. I live in Mantweeka (really Manteca).

Most of the time I live about 8-9 blocks from the convention center.

I use to attend Cabrillo College, now I go to SJSU.  Thursday and Fridays I reside myself in Santa Cruz area.  After April I might spend weekends here as well  :D

My friend Addie has been telling us about this convention for a while, and I think I'll actually get to go this year. I'm really nervous though, I didn't realise what a popular convention this was. o.o;

I'm a junior high school student living in Santa Clara. I've never been to a convention in my life, nor cosplayed, but I dress like a freak just about every day. I'm so going this year though. I'm gonna be a Gothic Lolita Minnie Mouse pirate candy Angel thing >D
but the easiest way for you people to recognize me is my hair. It's dyed black, choppy, and the ends are pink. :3
So if you actually manage to remember what I look like and catch me at the convention, be sure to say hi xD

Convention is pretty crowded.  My suggestions, stay with your friends in groups.  Keep an eye out for suspicious people.  And if you have any problem ask staff for help and they will take care of you.  Other than that, be safe and have fun :D
