I'm 20 and I feel relatively young at Fanime =). Lots of staffers that I hang out with are much older than I am.

Too old?  Only if you're dead, rotting, and six feet under.

Come on, if this happens, then they already have their cosplay covered. They could be some random zombie in the RE series.

Oh man, when I first read the title of this thread I was like," WTH, is he asking what I think he's asking?"

Apart from that, today I turned 22 and I'll still be attending the CON as long as I'm interested in anime. Plus I'll be living in the city soon after the CON. So I'm real excited!!!

...maybe we're asking the wrong question?  :P
This is answer to everything.  It took me millions of years to come up with this answer, don't question it.  >:(

AGREED. I once saw someone who was accompanied by her grandmother, who made one of the best old!Sophie (Howl's Moving Castle) cosplayers that I've ever seen. And she was really energetic and excited about the con, and really fun to talk to. I'd say too old is whenever you can't physically make it to the con anymore.
2009 cosplays:
ahaha, so undecided
Chibitalia, Yanki!Souji, TYL!Irie Shouichi, Jack Bezarius, and Cool Lady!Tear Grants are most likely though

When you're so old you are bed-bound and so fragile that any movement would kill you.

Otherwise, keep going as long as you're healthy and mobile enough to do so. (Even if you're in a wheelchair or walker, etc etc.)

Didn't somebody do an advent children cosplay where they took their grandma in a wheel chair as a character? I think it was in 06 or 07.

I'm 25 years old. I don't think it matters what age you are. People of all ages enjoy anime and the wonder that is Japanese culture.
