Pretty much touched all bases (.hack, Aria),

save for Someday's Dreamers OST (If people haven't noticed yet, I rep this to the ground). Total kickback music.

for me:

Revolutionary Girl Utena, Rozen Maiden, Rozen Maiden Traumend by Shinkichi Mitsumune. He knows how to do very good orchestral music.

I agree with Yuji Kaijiura though. Her music is godless. so is Yoko Kanno's.

I also like Shiro Sagisu for his work on the Eva OST's. Very thematic and very powerful.

I have too many to list from all the years i've watched anime, but those would be my top 4 as of now.

ARIA's soundtrack is the only one I listen to up to this day. All the others I've gotten tired of.

Visions of Escaflone
Giant Robo
Cowboy BeBop
Memories
Ghost in the Shell

Anything by Yoko Kanno (+1 fanboy point) since she's done Cowboy Bebop, Wolf's Rain, GitS:SAC/2nd Gig, and Darker than Black.
also Samuria Champloo, FLCL, and Bleach.
