T'was the night before Fanime, and all through the boards
not a creature was posting (perhaps fighting the Horde?)
The cosplayers had finished their pieces with care,
relieved that their cosplays, on time, would be there.
The fangirls were nestled all snug in their beds
While visions of Sephiroth danced in their heads;
And Mizuho in his her lingerie, and I in my cap,
had just settled our brains for a short pre-con nap.

...so we slept. Waiting for Fanime.

Raping classic literature aside...
No matter the drama, no matter what problems may have faced us on the way, no matter what challenged our attendance... it's here.
The moment we've long awaited most of the year has finally arrived. Ready or no, looking forward to it or no, excited yet or no, it is nigh and apparent.
I look forward to the four days that lie before us, anxiously await meeting some of you for the first time, alongside others I've met in previous nights. We may have been on great terms, or otherwise. Regardless, I look forward to it with great anticipation.
