safe fabric?

so this might be an odd question but i made a cosplay where there is fabric i bought from joanns covering my mouth. i have washed it several times and probably will some more just to be safe
but i was wondering if there are any bad chemicals in the fabric that would make it a bad idea to wear
and the fabric is kinda like swim suit fabric if that helps

I think you'll be fine. I'm sure if the dye were nastily toxic they couldn't sell that fabric in the first place.

If it's swimsuit fabric, it's safe for your mouth. It's meant to get wet and be very close to a very delicate part of the human anatomy that is oddly similar to a mouth. Hot wet mucuous membrane and whatnot ;P
