If I recall, its usually open about the same time the dealer's hall opens on friday. Also, the arcade has been 24/7 at the San Jose Convention Center since 2004, so one can only hope.

Yeah, I'd be sorely disappointed if it wasn't 24/7, since the arcade is the only reason I went last year.

Yes, it will be open 24/7. It will be in a different hall from last year though. Essentially, the dealer's hall and the gaming hall switched places this year.
