I just learned why we Americans are not gonna get anymore parts/arcs of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure* out here in the states via a company like Viz:
apparently, a hockey player sued Todd Macfarlene years ago (sp?) over a character name (that was slightly modified). Because the hockey player won the lawsuit, celebrities can sue anyone who names a fictional character after them  :(

It has crossed my mind before, "Should I give up anime or not?" If I had, I don't think I'd be on the forums or know the great people that I do. I might have become an obsessed Racer-Asian with an orange Honda Civic or a really Techno-nerd-Asian working at Geek Squad.
