For at-con registration, are credit or debit cards accepted (Visa)?

Credit cards yes, debit cards maybe.
We are accepting Mastercard and Visa for sure. I'm not sure about the other ones.

As long it has a Visa or a Mastercard logo on the card, they can take it. If it doesn't, then they can't use it.

Awesome. Even tho I don't use a debit card to charge, it beats carrying so much cash, even though I mostly use my credit card  :D

if you are going to get money during the convention next year, take a really, really safe approach and get it directly inside from your bank, instead of using the ATM; my card number go stolen this weekend from a machine and was charged with crazy stuff.

yeah, one difference between credit and debit is how long it takes to clear from your account.  Debit takes it out that day and Credit usually takes about three days to clear.  Thats how it is for my Visa bank card, it can go threw credit or debit....though ive never seen just a debit type card.

Most banks actually issue Debit/Credit cards (cards that can detect money from your checking/etc. account by using Debit or Credit) by default, but most banks will let you request just a Debit card (i.e. can't use it to process credit transactions).
