1st post has been updated to reflect the topic being recycled to be used for the 2012 gathering.

Sweet! In that case... its a bit early to say, but I plan on having at least one Marvel and one DC cosplay next year. I wanna finally make the Avengers:EMH!Wasp cosplay, and I'll probably also be another Robin (Damian Wayne), but I think I'll likely bring Wasp to the gathering. Totes can't wait!

I may go to SacAnime this year, and I'll for sure bring Robin with me (unless I finish my Avengers:EMH!Wasp cosplay) if I do! It'd be great to be in another gathering with you guys.

I would like to know if anyone has any pictures of the Sue Storm and Reed Richards Future Foundation cosplay. We did the cosplay on Saturday.

Hey, has anyone posted any pics of the meet yet?

Well I collected some more pictures that my other friends took, and uploaded them to the same Photobucket I linked to earlier. You and your friend are in some of them! Here's that link again.
Its still not much, but I haven't found many photos of this gathering yet other than the ones my friends took. But they're bound to turn up!

P.S. I love how Rorschach managed to be next to Deadpool in some of those. "I smell a sitcom!"

This was one of the funnest gatherings everrrr! Really glad I made it. You guys were all. Seriously. Awesome.

I was the really short Robin from Young Justice, the one with the domino mask who kept getting carried into pictures and uh... compromising situations haha.

Hey everybody! Awesome year. Here were my cosplays:

Thursday: Robin from Young Justice (I was the really short one with the domino mask).

Friday: Patchouli from Touhou (Purple nightgown and mob cap, long purple hair, usually holding a book. I was also the really tiny one, as there was another Patchouli I saw that was pretty tall).

Saturday: Robin again. I was also at the Marvel/DC gathering, so I'll link the few pictures I've got from it to you guys from the gathering.

Sunday: Patchouli again. I was at the Touhou gathering, but unfortunately I don't have any pictures of that myself.

Monday: I kinda mixed my cosplays a bit; I wore my wig for Asuka from Evangelion, and my shirt and pants for my Robin cosplay at the same time. A couple of people took a picture of this so yeah.

Thanks for the responses! I'll let them know! If they are all able to make it, then you guys should have an Isaac, Miria, Rail Tracer, Jacuzzi, Nice and Graham. And I'll probably be there taking pictures. So see you all in a week!

Hey guys! I was wondering, are there actually any Baccano! cosplayers planning to be at this gathering? I sort of skimmed through most of the thread and didn't really see any. A friend of mine and her group of friends are cosplaying from it, and would like to be a part of this, but they would be more encouraged to go if they knew whether there'd be other cosplayers from the series or not. Even if they're the only ones though, they will probably want to represent anyways haha, so I'm just asking this on her behalf! Thanks peeps!

I think you forgot to add me there. xD Well its still tentative actually, even if I do finish the cosplay I'm not sure if I can get to this gathering due to another one happening on the same day, but I really want to be a part of this one. Anyways I'll try to be there as Robin and a friend of mine is going as Miss Martian, both from Young Justice. We may also have a Superboy with us.

So I was originally planning to go as Wasp (Avengers: EMH! version) this year but my friend, whom is cosplaying from Young Justice, wants me to cosplay with her, so I'm probably going to end up being Robin instead, while she'll be there are Miss Martian.

I may be there as Bartz from Final Fantasy V, in his original sprite costume.

I was planning on being Yuuka this year, but I've been having a hell of a time finding the right patterned fabric for her skirt/vest... So its probably not gonna happen this year. Instead I may go as Patchouli, or if it comes down to it I can wear my Suika cosplay from last year again, as long as my friend isn't borrowing it for the weekend.

So, I guess you can put me down as Patch, I'll let you know if that changes. ;]

This was easily my favorite gathering this year. Thanks everybody for making it awesome! I still can't believe how huge it was. I was too drunk stupid to find the panels though, so I missed them.

My cosplays this year were:

Suika from Touhou (Thursday and Sunday)
Rhyme from The World Ends With You (Friday)
Zidane from Final Fantasy IX/Dissidia (Saturday)

I'm a little confused about whether "bare shoulder" is allowed or not. The cosplay I plan on wearing has a vest, and no sleeves. Here is a picture.

Its somewhat formal attire, I'm just not sure if its formal enough. Not to mention things like the boots, I'm not sure if that's not quite formal enough either (there's no armor on mine, its just boot covers). I'd appreciate input, thank you!

The vest since it is part of the cosplay should be fine.  It is still keeping with the formal theme, I would suggest you try to wear maybe a long sleeve underneath if you can but that is just a suggestion.  As for the boots that would be a now.  They tend to be too bulky and tend not to stick with the formal theme.  Let me know if that helps.

That definitely helps a lot, thanks very much for getting back to me! As for the shoes, if it helps, I have a picture of me wearing mine, they aren't very bulky at all, but I can see how they may not fit with the formal theme. Here's the picture.

After seeing the shoes, I still would have to say that it is not up to par in regards to semi formal attire so I would have to say no.  Sorry.
