What time would be a good time to get there on Thursday? Anyone know?

The pre-reg badge pickup opens up at 5:00pm. The line starts forming early. I arrived on Thursday last year around 2:00pm and I think there were people already lining up. Myself I waited till about an hour before.

at Akon a lot of An Cafe fans werent the nicest to me..i mean i'm sorry for not looking like a jrocker and not being asian of any sort..but that doesn't mean i can't be a fan.

I hope to meet nicer fans this time.

Indeed, I was actually heading back to the hotel room to help a friend take her stuff up and thats when I saw him and i dropped everything got my camera and asked for a picture

I saw Teruki twice on the way to the elevators, he's so adorable..and both times he was alone

I'll be taking about a four hour flight..and then i dont know where to go from there...x.x

I don't know if i should take a cab or what..i've never taken any sort of public transportation before..

not to mention i think i'll have to take a light rail (is that what it's called?) to get to and from my hotel and the convention center..

Well there security people let me..they were the ones who took the picture for me.

I think it was only a lady and a man that was with Kanon..not like a mob of people

They did at Akon and thats how i got to take pictures with Kanon

It was already pretty late so there wasnt many people around

At Akon a lot of people brought them gifts and were allowed to have stuff that was brought to the convention signed..
I dont know if Fanime is the same..but we'll just have to wait and see.

At Akon at first they said we couldn't take pictures but ended up letting us anyways

Well I guess that's all right we still have the Q&A the concert and to the lucky ones the autograph session

Ok so I plan on getting my autograph ticket in the morning on Friday,(and pick up my badge and stuff thursday) how early do you think i could be there waiting?
And what happens once the 15 tickets of the day are gone, you have to try again?

oh i'm so nervous, because i am one of the unluckiest persons in the world and with only 100 tickets for autographing I might not get that chance..seeing how there is probably a bunch more then 100 people wanting autographs...

I'm trying to estimate on around how many were in line at the Akon convention..but it was hard to tell since there was two autograph sessions..and people were allowed to get back in line

oh but you know what..i'm glad i got a full weekend pass..i heard a lot of An Cafe fans weren't getting a full weekend pass because they are only going to the convention for the concert and stuff...so maybe i do have a chance

Well I booked a room for Thursday because at the last convention i went to I went that Friday morning and nearly wasted the day x.x
Although I do not know anyone in California and I'm not going with my friends..(just my sister) It might be one of those insanly boring lines
(sorry guys i'm not the greatest sociable person--I get nervous when gathered with a large amount of people..although i am making an effort to break away from that phobia XDD)

A DS, iPOD, friends, and an over active imagination are all things to bring for line waiting. Or oddly enough, if you ENJOY waiting in lines (I know of two people) then you're set.

At the A-kon convention they had two
(One on saturday and one on sunday)
Since there were a whole lot of people in line

This will be my second convention but my first to Fanime

My first convention didn't go to well it was so last minute and we didn't have a room...so we had to sleep standing for a few minutes before those people would come and tell us we could sleep there.

Although we did make it all three nights, but with only 200 dollars and a backpack full of snacks (it was a horrible thing to carry around) we didn't smell all that bad.

We were insane, and well since it was just my sister and I it wasn't all that fun..

I have a fear of big crowds but i'm trying to get over it

I hope you have loads of fun, and eatting and resting for a while is always good.
