I miss the con already T^T no more late night arcade and anime videos, and all the things you wanted to buy.....
not to mention the karaoke ;_; *sings heart out*

stayed in the hilton the entire weekend.

Everything was good, except for these few points:

-I hated the elevator to death >.< every frickin time i head to my 15th floor room, i end up wanting to puke at the front door of my room. It never happened, but who knows..next time...

-City Bar & Grill, worst service during late evenings.

  Me and my bro wandered for an hour looking for a good place for solid, not-too greasy food restos, ended up not loving the seafood restos or burgers, so we head back to grab a bite there. We got formally seated at the bar, and were handed the menus, after 5 mins we tried attracting the attention of any of the waiters, to no avail. We conversed with the person who sat us at the front desk and asked what was the proper way to get the waiter's attention, she mentioned they were busy, but it was possible for her to take the order for us, so we did request our orders. Lo and behold more people sat near us and got serviced, except for that two kids that also got formally seated, we were waiting for the waiters for 1. our food to be served, 2. for the two kids to get orders. Around 30 mins later the kids left having had no service whatsoever at all, AND we still don't have our FOOD/BEVERAGE. 45 mins later we eventually called the attention of a newer waiter who seemed to have just started his shift. And we explained. Turns out that lady never gave the order paper to another waiter/chef/cook before she left, ending her shift. That really turned us off waiting for an hour past hungry (10:50pm then) and left frustrated.

I missed it, and I still want that CD you're selling i never got to chance to buy T_T we keep on missing it D:

its a wooden kunai, its bigger then the ones that were sold in the dealer's room.
i stuck it in my ninja suit on my way down from the hilton hotel that saturday near noon, and only realized i lost it when I was a handful of steps past the entrance of the Dealer's room.
It has a black-grey color, with rough sandy texture, with red ribbon wrapping with glue to keep it at the handle, and its point is bent :P It may also have a slight scent of honeysuckle flower fragrance as it got sprayed on before i left the 15th floor room.

Friday night: 6 pm in the main entrance area, near the fountains. Whole set, including the FFIX Theme. Kind of a mini-rehearsal. sound good?
Saturday: 1:45 pm and 3:45 pm is when we meet, outside near the fountains. These will only be short sets. The FFX/X-2 gathering is first, we will be playing "Tidus and Yuna's Sky Theme", "1000 words" and the "Song of Prayer/Hymn of the Fayth", and then the KH gathering. We will just be playing the KH overture then.
Sunday: 11:45 and 3:45 is when we meet, outside near the fountains. FFVIII gathering is first, we will be playing "Eyes on Me," and "Fragments of Memory". The FFVII gathering is at 4, we will only be playing the "World Theme" and "Flowers Blooming in the Church."
Monday morning: 11 am in the main entrance area, near the fountains. Whole set. Would be a closer for the entire con. ^_^

so...uh is that already the final schedule? i want to be your audience :)

I got an email from my hotel that say my check-in time on friday is 4pm, and I'm bringing all my stuff and heavy bottled waters on at around lunch time...
-How do I keep my stuff if I can only check in at 4pm O_O???
-Any chance I can check in early? I don't want to lug 2casesx24bottles ea around that would be like dragging your house around @_@

Is there anything a ninja should be wary of? Traps, assassins, guards, etc?  ;D

Are there any events or areas that I should check out first?

that would depend on what you're interested in. would be advisable you check out the events tab in the fanimecon webpage to see all the happenings.

But we're getting out of topic here so...

if you can't eat out, try hoarding some food to keep in your bag. Last year at saturday evening some of my newfound friends were sooo hungry, I shared them my home-made onigiris :D damn everyone split them all up that it all lasted with just a bite for each person.

hmm not only 'just food'. Fast food isn't good if taken in succession. If you've familiarized yourself with the light rail, you can take yourself to japantown san jose and buy decent food from the stores there, or if not stock on all the 'decent' food you can find at the japanese grocery there. They sell bento boxes everyday, freshly made and a variety of food from onigiri, sushi, maki, udon, noodles, takoyaki's and more ^^

-keep yourself hydrated. last year it was a great improvement that they have water dispensers at the video rooms and and music rooms, however, always bring one bottle of water with you. soda dispensers at Fanime run out fast, and soda isn't a good way to hydrate yourself.

I suppose we did met mutsu, if you were that female knight i've met last year that asked to re-take a lot of photos, but only post one (which i did) unfortunately, my photo album website closed down ;_; I need a new place to post them all.

I'm havent started sewing my ninja suit, I'm still working on my brother's cape for his own cosplay. Do you think I can still catch up with 1 month's worth of sewing? 1 month left till Fanime..... @_@

besides, arent the sannin supposed to be over 50? I don't really mind people of that age dressing up as them, so long they know the basic etiquetee dealt in a con, remember Jiraya-sama's perversion is only fictional and should not be reflecte as real in the convention.
