I was still able to get a room from Friday-Sunday at the Fairmont.  :D  Unfortunately, I had to get a room for Thursday at the Wyndham.  :-\ That's alright though. The only reason I need a room for Thursday is because I drive up from L.A. and wouldn't want to miss most of Friday because of it.

When I checked out of the Fairmont this morning, the lady at the desk told me I could keep it.  :)

Day 0 is must for me since I have to drive up to San Jose from L.A.

Where we stayed: Hilton, 15th floor, 1 King bed room.
Was it good or bad: Good! Room got cleaned every day.  :)
Would you stay again? Yes!

Comments: Got woken up on Saturday and Sunday night by some noisy people in the hallway.  :(  Other than that, everything was good.

I have about 700 pics from the con, but first I need to resize them all before I put them up on my Flickr page. I don't like posting the originals. I should have them up by tomorrow night or Wednesday afternoon. I'll post a link as soon as they're up.

I stay from Thursday-Monday. But that's 'cause I have to drive up from L.A. Getting there on Thursday gives me a chance to recover from the boredom of the drive. Not much to see on the 5. Plus I'm able to pick up my badge before the mad rush on Friday morning. Plus you can check out the Swapmeet and get a little gaming in. Even though I suck.  :D

I had no trouble finding a room from Thursday-Monday.  :D

ARIGATOU! THANK YOU! GRACIAS! (Though I don't think that I can say that enough times.) MERCI! To every one involved with Fanimaid Cafe. Especially, Jun.  :)  You all did a wonderful job. All the maids looked so cute. Especially Ami-chan with her little cat ears.  :D  She was my maid after all.  :P

Your performance at Stage Zero was amazing. Especially when (sorry, I can't remember her name  :( ) sang, Watashi Kare Wa Pilot. I'm a huge Macross fan.  :)

Looking forward to Fanimaid Cafe in 2010.  :)  Unless I implode or something.  :D

It looked to be 15-19 for most of the people there.  I know at 37 I felt ancient there!

You're not ancient. Compared to me anyways. I'm 35, though people usually don't believe me when I tell them. Don't know if that's good or bad.  :D

Post-con depression hit me the moment I turned the key to start my truck for the long drive back to L.A.  :(  It'll probably hit me even harder once I go back to work on Friday.  :'(  At least I have a whole year to save up for 2010. :D

My stay at the Hilton was a rather pleasant one.  :D  The room was big and spacious and the maid would leave one of the small towels folded in the shape of a flower.  :)  Guess the only complaint, if you could call it that, was the nice LOUD wake up call on Sunday around 4:20 in the morning.  >:(  All thanks to someone one the 6th floor.  :P  Thank you 6th floor person.  ;D  LOL

It really shouldn't  matter if you go alone or with friends. The important thing is to have fun and a good time  :D regardless of who you go with.

I live in the San Fernando Valley.  :D About 7 minutes away from Universal Studios and about 20 minutes from downtown L.A. Of course with traffic... it might take longer.  :P

I'll be going on those same days as well if you're interested. I'll be leaving around 11:00 am on Thursday and should leave around 12:30-1:00 pm on Monday. I'll have to check with my apartment manager to see if you can leave your car in my spot over the weekend.
