Damn, I was thinking my bag was just missing it. Those pocket style guides were super awesome last year.

Agreed. I understand this saves time money and trees, but meh, I miss the printed schedule. Last year's minis were sooo handy.

The whole 'save time, money and trees' bit gets a tad subverted when you look at the useless full color 'here are the events without the time or location listed' guide that we got instead. How does I priority.  :-\
Cost more trees without.

According to this thread the only one that is worth getting is the Yaoi-Con one.

It's listed under "Special Events on Saturday" (scroll down from the posted schedule):

The Yamaga Party
    at Sainte Claire Courtyard Atrium
From 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM

How do you get into that? Buy tickets?
You get lucky or win it.
Sometimes there is a guy sitting at a desk randomly on the floor. Talk to him show ID and badge they sign you up and hand you your invite. OR you win them at Stage Zero.

im pretty glad i showed up at 8 with some friends. we were 3 of the first 10 people to be let in, and it was worth it after seeing how huge the line got because holy crap
i was 20th i got there around 12  In years past they didnt let people in till noon. TT_TT i thought i was early to lol. The rovers at that time were nice and heck i knew some of them but then when the line filled up they were like RAWR BOOGA HIPPORUMPMA

Ok quick one. I have an Old school Wood handcufs I use as Free escaping from jail. The prop has a rubber band keeping it closed so i can easily get in and out of it for my hands cant fit in without opening them. This is not a weapon and is 100% a prop. Some rovers have given it the stank eye so i just wanted to make sure it was ok.

If I remember correctly, the actual printed event schedule was available at info desk last year.
I asked them after i posted this apparently they wont have printed out sceduals this year its all online and on the ONE app which could of been made better.

This is defendantly something they shouldn't do again. (the no printed)

That's... kinda messed up. Especially since I don't have a web-enabled device or a laptop. So I have to either memorize the schedule beforehand or print it out myself?
If you are a cosplayer im going to leave my print out in the cosplay chill zone in the share zone so everyone can look over it.  As long as no one steals it or marks it up it should be there all Convention.

I'll be there on Day Zero but I don't know if i'm going to be busy getting dragged around or not. If you really wanna hang though I'll be walking around. I have dreads,i'm about 5'7,and I wear glasses + random objects(like a candy necklace or a necklace made of paper clips). So it's safe to say i'll be easy to spot ;)
actually, for fanime that isn't very specific.

HAHAHA what?! I'm pretty sure I wont see anyone there that looks like me>,>(I have yet to see a look-a-like in the past 4 years i've gone). I forgot to mention that I'm dark brown skinned btw.

P.S. How many people have you seen with dreads there(o.O;) As far as fanime(or just anime fans in general) dreadlocks are pretty rare :o
4 people

Just out of curiosity, how are the guys removing clothes picked?

They're official Yaoicon bishounen if I'm not mistaken
to be a bishounen i think you have to volunteer like a rover)

The weather can't make up it's mind, can it?
Welcome to the bayarea weather lol
LOL well....It's not THAT random. You can predict how the whether will be simply by looking at the sky ::)*sarcasm*

Btw yesterday there were 7 tornadoes in the Northern Sacramento area...Even though we never get tornadoes(let alone 7>,>) I'm sure we wont have anything random like happen again anytime soon....right? :-\
ITS HOT in line right now.
Really? That's a good thing for me, I kinda wanted some warm weather. The nights are prolly gonna be chilly though.
wind and cloud cover came in to save the day!!!

Rovers are basically the security of Fanime. Chances are they are being "epic evil" because they have over a thousand hyped up teenagers in line all chattering and excited for a convention and they have to try and keep things safe. Not an easy job.

Have you hugged a rover today?
Na this rover was causeing a hazored. instead of steping out of line and walking in the free space (near front of line) she told us to go threw the line all 5 switch backs just to toss out an ice coffie drink. Harder to get threw the line like that than to bend under one yellow peice of tape and walk around.

schedule of when events are are not in there
