Tryouts were really fun yesterday! (: I was pretty nervous when tryouts started, but everyone was really nice. C: It was super cute seeing everyone help each other pronounce, "Okaerinasaimase Goshujinsama!" and "Itterasshaimase!" haha. It really shows how friendly everyone trying out is. ; v; Good luck to everyone that goes to the San Jose tryouts! (:

There will be multiple tryouts, so don't worry about that. As for earliest shift, IF IF IF IF the schedule is the same as last year, Cafe opens at 11am which means shift would be 10:45 -> 2:15or something like that.

Edit: These aren't absolute or exact, but it's just to give you a rough idea.

If we end up volunteering with Fanimaid Cafe, how many hours would we volunteer a day? I want to table with my friend in the Artist Alley too so if I miraculously get to be a part of Fanimaid Cafe, I'd like to know how many hours she'd have to be alone. ;~;

Total is about 10 hours through out the weekend. Roughly 4 1/2 hours sat and sun, and a mandatory meeting that lasts about an hour.

Is it like a continuous shift for 4 1/2 straight hours a day? Or is it spread out throughout the day?

One shift is 3 1/2 hours plus the required 1 hour of work during Fanimaid☆Live (either working the cafe or performing on Stage Zero).  You choose what 3.5 hour block you want to work during the day.

Fanime 2008 was awesome. <3 [And my first convention too.]

I don't know if I'm going this year, but I would like to create a costume as soon as possible.
So a few months ago, I went to a fabric store with my friend and bought a lot of light pink fabric, a good amount of white fabric, and a little bit of red to create a costume.

At first, I wanted to cosplay as Rabi En Rose, but for some reason I did not want to anymore.
Then I wanted to cosplay as HanaIchigo from my discovery of Rozen Maiden.
But now I don't want to. -____-

Can you awesome people please help me with choosing what to create? The only requirements I ask is that it is mostly pink and white, [or just pink and white] and only a little bit of red....[I have about 3 feet of red fabric]
Pictures of sweet lolita dresses would be nice too. =] [MAJOR LOVE actually...xD]
Or....do you think I should just create an OC[original character] instead? =]
If I do, I'll post it here too. xD
