Hey there I saw in the League of Legends topic in Gaming, a staffer by the name of Xepherian said you guys were organizing a LoL tournament for the con? It was about a month ago, and I just wanted to know if that was a thing that was still going on? My team would be extremely excited to participate in such an event and I'm sure plenty of others would too!

I know a decent bit about setting up tournaments, since I know you need to go through RIOT to officially set one up, and it's not too hard of a process, just minimum specifications and that's it really. I would be happy to volunteer to contact RIOT to get more information if you guys need it~

I've been busy with finals so I haven't gotten a chance to sit down and finish it all up in one go. I should be done with it by tomorrow though! I have a bunch of friends who are also applying so I'm quite excited with how everything is going, and I hope both my friends and I manage to get accepted into the panel!

You won't have to worry, you need to be at least 18 years of age with an I.D. for check in. Of course the room(s) need to be booked under the name of the person who is checking in as well. So keep that in mind if you have a parents name on the room instead of your own.

Also, where exactly is the meetup? The other post on cosplay.com says the grove of trees by the marriot, the old location on that post is right of the convention center. This post says left of the convention center. :?

I am trying to work the location thing out as well, because there have been different locations posted to different websites. The chances of it being directly outside the convention center are slim, because the Kuroshitsuji gathering is scheduled for that area at the same time. There was some vague mention of a grove of trees either by the Hilton or across from Fairmont (I believe I've read both). There ARE parks in both locations (Plaza de Cesar Chavez - the one across from Fairmont, is smaller but it would work and it's one I'm more familiar with). The one across the street to the left of the Hilton (Guadalupe River Park) is larger, but I have never actually gone there, so I don't know what that one's like. I have no idea which of these two places they're planning to host it, though.

On Tumblr phantom-shadow is hosting a Homestuck gathering at the park across the street with the statue. I'm assuming that one is the Guadalupe River Park. If you guys would like we can merge and confirm this gathering into that one? Of course I'm not trying to like 'take over' per se, just merely suggesting and see what you guys think!

I generally park next to South Hall behind the main convention center. It's literally on the same block and is close to most of the centralized hotels. It's I think about $7 per day, you just need to renew your pass each morning so you don't get fined. It's pretty cheap, and it's a convenient location to boot.

Heyo! New to the Fanime Forums, and immediately hunted down this thread xD

I shall be cosplaying Prussia from the War of Austrian Succession, and I got quite an army of countries that are raring to jump into attending (not all of them are 100% in going yet tho).

I have (besides myself):

-Canada (Normal)
-Hungary (Austrian Succession)
-Spain (Austrian Succession)
-France (Austrian Succession)
-America (Normal)
-America (American Revolution)
-Germany (Normal)
-Japan (Black Uniform)
-England (Norm/Revolution not sure yet)
-Monaco (Normal)

I'll be able to confirm who is guaranteed going, and who won't be by next month once it gets a bit closer to con season. :3
