Title: Taiko drums
Post by: hayabusa on June 15, 2006, 03:05:34 PM
how do we make a request for performer?

I've seen taiko drummers perform in a wedding and i think they are nice to have on the next convention.

Visit their site. http://www.taikodojo.org/

I remember watching a Taiko performance when I was in Middle school. I forgot what group it was, but I thought it was cool. Taiko would be good for Fanime8)

It sounds like taiko is popular enough that groups are likely to want money.

Actually, this looks like a list of a whole bunch of taiko groups in California:

Yes I think there is, they performed at the Nikkei Matsuri 2007and was awarded by a placard by a representative of the Mayor of San Jose.

In my Opinion, it was very fun. Do Include Taiko performances :)

We contact a lot of taiko drumming places every year, but most of them can't make it out because of scheduling conflicts/they won't get paid. We've been trying the past few years and the plans have fallen through every time.

If anyone has a reliable contact, please contact us at [email protected].
