Title: One Piece merchandise
Post by: luffy77 on March 25, 2011, 11:50:11 PM
Does Fanime have a lot of One Piece merchandise to buy?  Both times I have been to sac anime they has't been much One Piece to buy.  Since fanime is a bigger convention I was wondering if they had more One Piece.  By merchandise I mean is there a vareity of figures, cds, dvds, t shirts, bags, plushies, manga, etc.

I didn't see too many One Piece stuff, although I was looking specifically for Nico Robin merch(LOVE HER!!)so I may have glossed over the actual One Piece stuff looking for her. Oh wait,  I recall alot of Chopper plushies, actually. Also, there was a man in the Artist Alley selling stuff of One Piece that looked almost exactly like Eiichiro Oda's stuff, and I got a commission from him of Nico Robin, which made up for lack of Nico in the dealer's room IMO, so if all else fails, you can try the Artist Alley for One Piece stuff?

hmm well actually I was looking for stuff like dvd's cd's, and figures.  Has the dealers room gotten any bigger over the years by chance?  Maybe that can increase the chance of one piece merchandise.

I think the swap meet might be a good place to check for figures.  DVDs check the dealer's room (if media blasters is there, and other vendors).  I saw some CDs last year but don't remember seeing any One Piece cds.  Yeah, mostly Chopper plushies in the dealer's room.

For OP DVD's, be sure to check out:

-Anime Depot (King Roach) (check first, they specialize in DVDs)
-Anime Pavilion
-Yes Anime (I don't quite remember, they MIGHT have DVDs?)

Don't bother w/ Media Blasters because I wouldn't expect them to sell another company's licensed title. OP belongs to VIZ.

For OP PVC statues (giving you fair warning, they're not cheap... especially the Megahouse P.O.P. collection):

-Hobby Fan (check first)
-Toys Logic (check first)
-Cards & Comics Central
-Toylet Collectibles

For OP small figurines (gashapon collections and/or keychains):

-Anime Jungle (check first - they specialize in gashapon collections)
-Toys Logic (check 2nd - they've got an impressive collection of small figurines)
-Anime Palace

I'm sure there's more vendors, but these are the dealers that first come into my mind.
