We had Zelda, Hilda, Ravio, and Link (me!)~
Wore it on Sunday.
Here is a pic of us that I found on tumblrrr https://31.media.tumblr.com/f88be58d94fda47f3e4f4d45361ef0c4/tumblr_n68ycgYqMD1qbzor9o3_1280.jpg (props to merbearedie.tumblr.com)

Thank you for your help! =D

Looks like there isn't going to be a Yaoi Bingo event on Sunday evening so I'll definitely try to make it to this! (I might bring some friends too :)
Hoorah! Very unfortunate about no yaoi bingo that night, but I'm glad you'll (probs) be able to make it!

I'm definitely going! I can't wait, it sounds amazing ^w^
The King appreciates your patronage of the festival and would like to ensure you that the experience will be extraordinary!

Thank you so much for taking the time to give us this information! Very sorry about the car accident and the computer problems, such an unfortunate series of events when you guys were all set up to be so on top of things ): Glad you're doing better, though, and I hope that you continue to heal. Thanks for all of your hard work!

Ditto on the fan events thing. Last year I didn't hear about my fan event's scheduling for mine until like May 7th, 2 weeks before con @_@

This was, as I understood it however, because fan events are scheduled in rooms that other events will be using so they can't schedule them until they're sure about whatever else is scheduled in the room they're looking at for your event. I could be wrong, just what I gathered from last year. Not sure if this helps anyone or just makes it worse, haha.

Alsoooo I submitted my event as a panel this year because of this problem and a few more I had, and was told that my event would better be suited as a fan event and to resubmit there. So, I don't know if submitting as a panel would help if it really is more of an event than a traditional panel.

I noticed that the link to fan event submissions is not present on the new website. Wasn't sure where to post this, but I wanted to let someone know @__@

Do you mean panels? It's kind of buried but it's there. Events > Panels > "Please check here if you’re interested in hosting a panel for us." > "You can find the Panel Request form HERE."

Nope! Fan Events, haha. Its a new thing they started last year for events that don't fit the panel mold, and it was linked to the temp splash page before this year's site was put up but now it seems to have gone missing ): Thanks, though (:

King Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule and his festival planning committee are having a meeting today to go over the plans for the Festival of Time! Unfortunately, they are still waiting to hear back from the venue to receive their scheduled time. In addition, dark clouds have begun appearing over the Zora's Domain in the far reaches of Hyrule. The Knights of Hyrule have been dispatched to ensure that everything is okay. The King appreciates your patience and hopes that everyone is eagerly anticipating this year's festival!

The committee has heard back from the festival grounds! And with that, King Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule and his royal planning committee would like to invite you to join them for the 105th Annual Festival of Time! Please make your way to the festival grounds (the Fan Events Room - between panels 1 and 2 in the Fairmont) this Sunday, May 25th to experience Hyrule's main event!

Super interested in this - I hope you guys are able to make the panel happen! (:

UPDATE: The time of this event has changed to Friday from 4pm-6pm!

LoZ Murder Mystery: Hero Wanted
Time: 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
Date: Friday, May 24th, 2013
Location: The Dojo

Attention citizens of Hyrule!

You are invited to attend the annual Festival of Time, an event created in honor of the Hero of Time’s heroics hundreds of years ago when he sealed away the King of Evil. Games, music, drinks, and merriment abound as the people of Hyrule gather to celebrate the long-time peace.

In light of recent events, however, a council of the leaders of Hyrule's people will be held during the celebrations to discuss the onslaught of dark clouds and the plague that has recently taken the lives of many of our citizens - our Queen and King Zora as well.

Legend states that in a time of darkness, the Hero of Time will come to save us.  After much searching, the Hero is nowhere to be found, and so I decree that a tournament shall be held at the Festival of Time to declare a new hero for my people – The Hero of Hyrule.

At the end of the night, the festival will end with a gathering of all the attendees as we request the assistance of the Golden Goddesses in our time of peril.

May we all relish the times of peace we have had and celebrate the times to come at the discretion of our leaders, our new Hero, and the Golden Goddesses!

Your King,
King Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule

Princessofherworld of partyuntilyoudropdead.blogspot.com is proud to present LoZ Murder Mystery: Hero Wanted at FanimeCon 2013!

LoZ Murder Mystery: Hero Wanted is a Murder Mystery Party that takes place within the world of the Legend of Zelda series. A murder mystery is a game in which the attendees (you!) will take on the role of a character with a mysterious and sometimes mischievous past and spend the party creating alliances (and enemies!) in order to complete your goals and solve the murder of the King.

Useful Information:
  • Players of all skill levels are welcome! We'll teach you everything you need to know.
  • This event is rated 16+ due to necessary ability to play the game as well as the morbid themes, however your attendance is up to your own discretion.
  • All of the playable characters are non-cannon, so no need to break out your Link cosplay ;3
  • Capacity for this event is currently capped at 50 people. Be there early! This is subject to change.
  • Use your imagination and have fun!

Yay! I have a costume for this year! =D

Ironically, though, I will tentatively be hosting an LoZ fan event this year as well, so if that doesn't overlap with this, then I'm a go. >D

So, if I am able to attend, I will be there as OoT Adult Link <3

I'll be there as Sweetie Belle with my two friends as Apple Bloom and Scootaloo! <3

Okay. I've finally got my group's new count.
We will have (all from KHI) . . .

Sora, Donald, Goofy, Riku, Kairi, Maleficent, and a 4-person costume of awesome. 8D

I myself will be Kairi, and all of the rest are my friends. :)

I would like to rsvp for three of my friends. :)

You will now have a Donald (Kingdom Hearts version), Goofy (Kingdom Hearts version), and Maleficent!

Super excited~!

I already approved a few of them that came in -- so you can check and see which time you were assigned.

I'll work on more of these tomorrow~ going to bed ^_^

Thanks all!

Wow! Thank you very much =D

Registered~ Thank you! :)

Question about craftsmanship judging! Just double-checking that it's like last year where we do not have to wear the costumes to the judging, merely bring them and all of our documentation.

This is accurate :)

Can we wear them to the judging, though? If so, which would be preferred?  o:

Thanks :)

Snacks and music. Yess =D

Okay. So. Our group has ended up getting changed a looot. I'll post a recount a bit later once we're sure of all of the characters we'll have.
Sorry! D:
