not crazy about the fact that I may have missed out on my spot because of the typo on the website. :/ here's hoping.

unfortunately I dont know anything about the needing to be group leader or anything but if I had to guess I dont think you have to be. I feel as long as you have a badge and register for the event it should be fine, but I could be wrong.

maybe you guys can help me out though. Does anyone know the size of the stage? my friend and I are trying to get our footing and distance down but its kind of hard to do not knowing the dimensions we have to work with.

if it's anything like last year they'll have a practice space the size of the stage that you'll be free to work with, I know that doesn't really help you in the meantime but it's better than finding out when you go on for your performance.

I got all excited and thought registration went up today too. ^^; Then I re-read it. I'm just happy that the ball will finally be rolling. I'm pumped to enter this year.

If I'm not mistaken masquerade registration went up in April of last year... let's all be patient and polite and remember that con staff have a lot on their plates.

the panel information is up-is an informational panel worth it even if I don't get any discount because I pre-registered? Or is practically everyone doing it for the discount?

just popped in to say that I hope you submitted this panel because it sounds really original and informative to me. if you did, I wish you luck and I hope it gets in!

as for "doing it for the discount"... I like to think that no panelist runs panels for this reason. while I certainly hope I can get a discounted badge for Fanime (as a cosplayer who is flying in from out of state, I would definitely appreciate saving even a little bit on my badge), I would gladly do panels either way. I always appreciate cons that offer discounted badges to their panelists, but that is never my priority when running panels. I run them because it's enjoyable to me. ^^ My best panelist experience ever was actually at ALA earlier this year, where they don't offer panelist discounts.

will panelists be notified of acceptance or rejection before registration prices go up? I know it's a short turnaround time but if I won't be eligible for a discounted badge I'd like to know so that I can save a little bit on my badge price.

we will be doing one or two photoshoots with some VERY awesome photographers [I don't want to say who because at least one of them doesn't do reserved shoots, but I can guarantee you it's almost a sure thing]. we have almost a full group, but we are missing Kyoko.

I will probably not be attending the gathering, since the other two I want to go to are at the same time slot, but I should have no problem attending the tea party! I will be school girl/casual/whatever Beatrice and my boyfriend will be Battler.

I would love to bring Margaret to this, but I'm afraid of what the weather will be like. so it's either Margaret or Naoto for me. also, put me down as a maybe, the other two gatherings I want to go to are also during this time slot. :/
