As far as I know, the panel is Joyce's brainchild. It would be odd if anyone else decided to head it.

That said, if anyone else would, it would probably be appropriate if it were one of the veteran comics of the panel.

Banzai Arcade 2: Hecklers/answer shouters. Not all of them were asshats, but enough of them were to give the rest of us more responsible ones a bad name. If there is an efficient way to remove their tongues for next year, that would be greatly appreciated.

Failing that, I loved the bugs from the programming. That was part of the fun. Hopefully the Alpha version stays with us for years to come.

I'm okay with whatever you do, Glitch, so long as I'm not obligated to do anything at the Stage Zero thing. I'll stick around and support whomever does a portion of their bit, but that's it.

My style of comedy isnt really appropriate for onlookers and casual passer-by's. But thats good for the lot of you who want to do it; more time for you.

I really think we should play it safe this year and go with a one-hour time slot. Better to leave the audience wanting more than to drive them away from giving them too much. Also Doctor, I am confident in your capabilities of running a 30 minute set but let's not overwhelm everyone with your awesome talent.

Regarding Stage Zero: What exactly is it?

It seems like a very vague performance opportunity. But performance for what?

I'm up for it, if time/space permits, naturally.

7 people running 10 minute sets would push the panel to just shy over an hour. If we get a two our slot then that leaves us with 50 minutes left to spare, far too big of a gap to leave unaccounted for. There's always an option of going 15 minutes but that's just WAY too much performing time and people WILL get bored.

I can easily do 15 to 20 minutes. I can even go to 30, if I'm feeling conceited enough.

The thing with a 15 minute slot is, if it's funny, it wont get boring. So if everyone was confident enough in a longer set near or at 15 minutes, I dont see a big problem with attendant contentment.

As of press time, my set is precisely 6 minutes and 53 seconds. Convenient.

I'll shave off the appropriate time, then, but I'm also for the gesture of a 2 hour panel. If that matters.

Okay, seriously?  No girls again?  (Besides me)  One of you guys needs to put on a dress when you're performing just so I won't feel as bad.

If it helps, I actually planned to be in crossplay. I managed to work it into my set.

Dont worry though, it's not a Man-F*ye thing.

What if everyone on the roster this year had a meetup prior to the panel? Like a pow-wow to go over our material and tweak it appropriately so that we all are as entertaining for the audience as possible.

Since this isnt a competition, there's no reason for us to not work together to make the panel as kick arse as possible.

I myself will mind my manners if someone heckles or boos, but if there's a chance to make a funny comeback I'll do it.
