Things in the Universe / Re: HAPPY EASTER :3
March 24, 2008, 06:31:38 PM
A little late but Happy Easter

I had to work on that day and we got plenty of calls if we were open.

One good thing about easter is going and getting tons of Cadbury eggs and peeps candy from the store (since this is the only time of the year to get them)

I haven't been up to anywhere with snow since I was back in middle school.  Sucks it is on a weekday though.  Should have a big fanime forum snowball fight, that would be fun.

Got mine at midnight launch at Gamestop, but they were slow ringing up people trying to sell them the guide and other stuff.  Paid in full and still had to wait in the line, should of had separate lines. Also not too many people there and I got there shortly after midnight.

So far I think I got about 8-9hrs on there, and 25-30% on Subspace Emissary, but no online or vs match yet.

Things in the Universe / Re: Uu... Sick in bed.
March 04, 2008, 11:38:40 PM
I have only been sick two times in the past while, usually never get sick though, just maybe a runny nose or something small.  The one I just had was about two weeks ago where I ended up get a bad cough and I could barely talk and had trouble breathing. Ended up spending about a day just laying in bed to recover and it still took about a half a week after that to have the cough mostly go away and be able to talk better.  But I can blame this mostly on biking to work in the mornings in the cold and working in a cold warehouse.  Didn't help that I already had a light cough to start off and all that probably made it worse.

Also, if you drink too much orange juice, the citric acid and Vitamin C could result in possible cold sores. Which, if you weren't feeling good in the first place, you now have something to mark it with.
Never had that happen and I drink a lot of Orange juice (can sometimes go through one of those big containers in about a day or less)

Photos of the packaging for both the Regular and Limited Editions has been released.  No word on what is included as extras in the LE one, but it has a simliar box style to the Haruhi LE box.

Regular: http://www.rightstuf.com/1-800-338-6827/catalogmgr/cq2ec0aRxBXQSdmfwN/browse/item/78558/4/0/0

LE: http://www.rightstuf.com/1-800-338-6827/catalogmgr/cq2ec0aRxBXQSdmfwN/browse/item/78559/4/0/0  (Funny cover on this one, probably reversable to be the same as the Regular one)

The movie was alright and worth it.  Dinner was alright as well except for Barnes meal taking forever.

Ryu - thanks again for the ride, and letting us hang out at your place
Inin - thanks for bring that movie to watch at Ryu, great movie.
gmontem - I beat you again, even though you had less ice cream to eat, but was it really a race?  ;D
Everyone else - nice meeting/seeing you even though I was quiet again, but thats how I am, too shy

Things in the Universe / Re: What Do You Do To Go Green?
February 12, 2008, 12:26:39 PM
Most of the same stuff thats been listed already.

- I bike, walk and/or take public transit.  Usually both to work and then just bike 10-15 miles home.  But for most stuff I can either walk or bike there. Great exercise and good at waking me up in the morning
- Recycle (i.e Bags, Cans, cardboard, paper)
- Changed a lot of light bulbs in my room to new lower power ones
- Turn it old batteries
- Re-use Paper & plastic bags from shopping

Sounds like fun.  Don't know if I still have any camping stuff though.

From ANN:

"Navarre Corporation CEO Cary Deacon reported during his company's Q3 2008 earnings conference call on Thursday that its Funimation anime distribution subsidiary was "in very early stages of negotiations to acquire some of the Geneon library of titles." He also noted that Geneon and A.D. Visions used funds from Japanese investors to raise their bids for recent anime licenses. Now that Geneon is no longer distributing in North America, there is a "downward pressure on pricing" in new anime licenses. The Geneon's anime market share stood at about 10%."

'Article from ICv2 (http://www.icv2.com/articles/home/12043.html)'

This is good news and hopefully it works out.

Normally don't get very much for a rebate and sometimes it goes to paying for state taxes.

Depending on how much it is, we shall see what I use it on
