That's no doubt that Call of Duty is a great game. It gains a lot of fans all over the world. If you are a fan of the game, when do you start to like it？
It is a fun game, but overall has so many design flaws that are not dealth with despite so many games being produced. One of the greatest offenders is the Netcode, which is almost as bad as Civ5s Netcode. The Input lag is disgusting.
Im also not much of a fan of the community either. But then a community comprised of hyper competitve 14 year olds wouldnt be that great I imagine.
Great game, too long a series- it's gotten old... mixed feelings.
Enjoyed Black Ops 1 and played it even until MW3 came out. However it got too stale for me because of the yearly releases, the community, and how repetitive it is.
Needless to say I'm happy I returned to the FGC. lol
Yes. COD 4 (my first FPS) I remember the sleepless days/weekends. My most favorite COD/FPS game of all times. But after discovering "Quick Scope" nonsense and all the BS. I moved on to "Battlefield" games.

Side note:: my ps3 died. Might get new console.
Ghost's HUD and presentation got a revamp, but it feels a bit like MW3. They took out a few game modes like SnD and CtF, but it doesn't really affect the overall player experience. Setting up your loadup is not as limiting as BO2, but you're gonna have to grind those squad points to buy stuffs.
As for the Extinction mode, it plays like zombies, but you have objectives to do while fending off aliens. You also customize your loadout like in multiplayer but it's a total different loadout. It also contains a separate leveling-up system.
I haven't tried Squad mode yet, but if there are people who are trying to get the PS4 and want to build a Squad, let me know.
PS: The Heli Sniper scorestreak for the Support class is the worst scorestreak ever.

It has a different engine, and looks clean for the PS4. The gameplay however is exactly like MW3, which is really obvious since it's from Infinity Ward.
I have only played the first Call of Duty for PC and it was really good for its time.
I've only played it once or twice and it never really appealed to me; it's just another first person shooter to me. :/
But that's just my $0.02.
I played my friends modern warefare 3 with nuke town.. bought my own copy but turns out its not the same (black ops 2?) however the controls are much easier and i like the helicopter drones.. and the warthog (terminator salvation planes..)...
sadly i mostly play co-op kiling enemy bots just to refine skills.
Not very good playing at professional level, but it still a nice fun game to have with 4 players..
LAN party doesn't work since it only limit to 2 players PER CONSOLE!>. WHICH SUCKS because i spent all my rewards from gamestop! to get another copy for my friend.. (was hoping 4 x 4 battle royal (4 on one console = LAN CABLE = 4 on another console)...
