Soul Eater cell phone cleaners ( Death ;D patti & Liz )
Soul Eater - Blair figuring
Soul Eater poster - Liz, Patti & Death <3
Soul Eater - Stickers ;3 & the necklace
Am I the only one that couldn't spot any Soul Eater merch?

Were those at the Swap Meet or something 'cause I did not see any SE stuff at neither the Dealer's Hall nor the AA.

I'm thinking of trying the Marriott next year.
Elevators from Hell anyone?

Uh, the Marriott elevators SUCK.
They make you really dizzy and you feel like you're still on the elevator even after having gotten off.

I'd stick to the Hilton if I were you.

Yeah, the Marriott elevators have a reputation of being horrible.

I've been hearing great things about the Hilton ever since I've gotten back from Fanime so the Hilton is an option too.
The only weird problem I have with the Hilton is that it's on the left side of the con as opposed to the Saint Claire & Marriott being on the right.
I'm just used to heading in that direction when returning to my room.
It's just me and my stupid nitpicky-ness.

Oh well, luckily I have almost a year to review things through.

Then i slowly realized that the con was over and now i'd have to deal with all those mean normal people BLEGH!!
Exactly what happened to me today. :(

Was at school today and one of my teachers told me off, which is a daily occurrence.
I was shocked at first, but realized that Fanime was over so there'd be no more of that "nice spirit."

that was actually the correct booth.
I spotted the letters on the back side that said SD Saturday evening somehow and talked to the girl there and ended up getting mine the next day after suspi dropped the badges off.
!!
Right place, wrong time...
First time I walked by there, they were selling those pins and things.
Second time I went there, after looking at the map and finding out that it was 252, there was a sign that read "Closure" on it.

I just assumed that the 1-2 time was the only time I'd be able to pick it up.
Negative Kudos to me. :(

Thanks for informing me that I at least got the place right.
Cake for you, Zirphex, or some other delicious pastry that you would enjoy.

Pros:
Almost Everything Single Thing.
Especially the Artists' Alley and the Karaoke room.
Those 2 made my Fanime Weekend.
And the cosplayers of course.

Cons:
The switching of panel rooms with the viewing rooms.
I liked the viewing rooms being in the Marriott a lot better.

And I actually didn't go and sit in any of the viewing rooms 'cause all the good stuff was during the day like Crows Zero and DtB, while stuff like Rosario and One Piece was at night when I had lots of "roam" time.
But I can understand since the majority of Con Attendees aren't insomniacs like me.

My hotel stay was pretty unpleasant but that isn't really FanimeCon associated.
Small room, lots of guys, one bed.
Luckily I switched rooms with my friend at the last minute. :P

I'm thinking of trying the Marriott next year.
Elevators from Hell anyone?

And lastly, having to wait 360+ days for next year's.
*Sighs*
See you all next year.

For me, it was waving to a little kid in the park, and having him freak out and run away...
Haha lol.
Makes me think I want to cosplay next year.

My Moments:
The Gong Show, never laughed so hard in my life, I loved the hecklers in the back.

Being attacked by this girl in the AA. She glomped me from behind.
When I told her I wasn't cosplaying, she just said "It's ok." and walked away. ???
(See line #2)

And lastly, when walking to Gourmet Express, some guy asked me what the heck was going on and so I stood there explaining FanimeCon to him, and when I started walking away, he mumbled "I want to go" lol.

Man, had loads of fun this year.

So a good 25-30 people didn't pick up your badges.  If you didn't get it, you can paypal me $3 to [email protected] with your address so I can mail them to you.

For the rest of you, I hope you liked them.
Sorry I couldn't find/pick up my badge.

I couldn't find the place and the map just led me to a booth selling Brawl pins so I ended up missing the scheduled time.
I'll be sending you the payment later today.

Loved this past Fanime.

My friends just kept showing up at the con one by one until I felt like I couldn't have any "me-time."

Now as I'm sitting here typing this with my sore feet, it's a bit lonely.
Can't wait till next year.

I planned to be in bed by 5 every night/morning and up by at least 9, but it was in bed at 7 and up at 9.

It was great. My body couldn't keep up with my mind so my feet are killing me today.

It was~ great. The prize machines managed to suck up most of my arcade money again this year too.
And Street Fighter IV was awesome.

Fighting-
SF4 (4 units)
Tekken 6BR (cards will be available somehow)

Other stuff:
Air Hockey
Prize games: we will have anime stuff ipod touches, NDSi, gift cards and probably a netbook
Time Crisis 4

This will be the biggest arcade setup yet!  Come on by and check it out.

Yes!! This is gunna be the best ever!!
Now time to get on SF4 and practice.
Too bad the arcade versions don't have Sakura or Fei-Long, so I guess it's Ken all the way.

And about the Tekken cards, I'd like to see that get pulled off, but what I'm probably excited about the most is the NDSi.
I haven't seen any NDSi's in any Stacker or any other arcade machine...yet.

*Drools at this year's line-up*

Are you worried about the actual quality of the water or the sanitary conditions of how it's being dispensed?
San Jose's tap/water quality is one of the best in the US.

There were plenty of water coolers inside the convention center last year, especially in the Marriott wing, but I'm not sure about actual water fountains.

I'm not sure about the size...if it's running the risk of being too small, just tell me and I'll change it right away 'cause I've got other choices backed up just in case. ;)

Thanks.

I never really have a plan going in there, its just if I see it, I want it...I buy it.
Exactly...except I really should order something from the Artist Alley this time.
I only spent around an hour or 2 in there last year. :-\

Dealers Room / Re: Sooo...What Did You Guys Buy?
May 27, 2008, 02:47:29 PM
I bought:

- V.4 Limited Edition Haruhi Box Set
- God Knows Soundtrack
- Death Note & Haruhi Wall Scrolls
- Visual Kei Grab Bag (For my sister)
- An Cafe Tour Shirt
- Air Vol.1 DVD
- AnimeDepot $25 Grab Bag
- Mushishi Vol.4 DVD
- When The Cry Vol.1 DVD
- DearS Official Fan Book (Friend gave me his store credit)
- Air Vol.2 DVD (Friend's store credit)
- LuckyStar Vol.1 Soundtrack
- AnimeDepot $10 Grab Bag

All in that order.

And thats it. Didn't buy any figures or anything from the Artists Alley.
Was going to order something from the Alley but everyone was swamped so I didn't want to bother them.

And where'd you guys get the Sex Pot Revenge shirts?

This was my first anime convention so I didn't know what to expect. It was just as awesome as I had imagined it to be.

Pros:
- An Cafe
- The Asian Films had its comedy but didn't have any Horror.
I would've liked to been scared stiff and see my friend's reactions also.
- I thought registration was going to be a hassle that would take forever but I got my badge after a short 15 minute wait.
- Awesome staffers. Especially the ConOps. They were super helpful.
- Pretty much almost everything.

Cons:
- Some bad(irresponsible) apples in the bunch.
The staff in the game room lost my badge so now I have the blue paper one to take home instead of the laminated card one.
- The concert attendees.
There was this person that actually held up a sign that blocked plenty of people's views.
- Weren't there supposed to be UFO Catchers in the game room?
I want more games where you can win prizes. I got bored of losing all my money to the Pile-Up and "Spinny" game.

Other than that, it was great. Met plenty of great staff and people.
Looking forward to next year. :D
