I'd most likely be down for something, I'd just need to know where and when.

Unfortunate for me though, a whole group of other friends have abducted me for the transformers movie release.

D'awwww your welcome.

A GURL, LE GASP!?!?!?!

*ahem*. I'll be going as well. You'll most likely spot me out if one of the store staff that I know is there as I'll just be chatting him up.

So... 1 PM, saturday, Dr. Comics and Mr games?
#5
You silly people with your high schools and new fangled phones.
#6
I might be able to.

Dr. Comics and Mr. Games is on piedmont avenue in Oakland. An extremely safe place in Oakland. I'm not sure of a specific route to get there as I'm unaware of where your specifically coming from.

I know I'd be interested. I'd encourage the pictures as well.

Though, where is this lake? It may be a fair bit of distance for me to travel.

You know, there was one maid who had twin tails that struck me as particular cute. But it was within a sea of adorableness.

Though I do have a question. How many games did the cafe have for visitors total? When we spent time there it seemed like there were very few.

Well here's the crappy part about my PCD:

I feel so distant from my non-con friends now. I feel like the only non-family I want to be friends with right now are my con friends. I've had a crush on a classmate for a year, and going to Fanime kinda...retarded that crush, because she's not an anime fan, let alone a congoer.

I've had that happen to me. At this point, though I'm not actually that nerdy, I've resolved that if I had a preference on who to crush on, it'd have to be someone who at least has a measure of nerdness to them.

unfortunately huge bursts of romantic emotion don't work that way.

Sounds good to me. Monday and Friday are bad days for me next week just to clarify if we do next week.

I used to work within Dr. Comics(not for the store, different program).

Seems fine for me.

One of my friends attempted to do a Dr. Who cosplay. I say attempted because he decided his suit was to hot and only went out in it for a few hours.

My group was 19-24 for an age range.

On the whole, I've found fanime to be a much older age range overall for a con then a few of the others I've been to.

My ex once asked me if it were possible to love someone in 3 days. Being the pragmatic man that I am, I said yes, but to not put such a deeper meaning into love for such a case. The better term is a crush and my they can be powerful. Infatuation happens. Just don't get to lost in it, or come on to strong for that matter.

Also, best of luck. <3 people being all cute with crushes.

The maid cafe was a great success and I look forward to next year.

Well, I'm only around until late August.

Aye, but a fine dinner we had. It was nice meeting with you all, though I feel a bit bad for my poor friends in the ronery corner.

While there is quite a bit of fear of meeting new people, remember, If it doesn't work out talking to them, you only have until the next fanime where you don't have to awkwardly walk into them again.

Besides that, realistically fanime is a social event. Even with people who come in large groups, one goal for a majority of individuals is to run into others to meet. Be it one from the hug crowd that lines the way to the dealers hall, to just a few people playing a board game. So as long as they aren't in transit or are fairly static where they are, striking up a conversation is a fine idea if your feeling a bit ronery.
