I'm such a night person. I go to sleep at almost 5am everytime i'm at fanime. Stage Zero as well. Not to mention anime viewing all hours of the day.

I've been coming to this con for years now. I've also seen the protestors grow in numbers recently. They've been doing it for years. I personally think it's nonsense. Believe what you want. It's just anime/game.

One thing that has always worked for me is to avoid them at all cost. I don't even try to get near that whole ordeal. Just not my concern at all. We are there to have fun. Not to cause any drama. Just ignore it. Have fun at the con!

Every year it seems to amaze me how some people don't understand about good hygiene. I know cosplaying, weather,humidity,activities,etc...... play a big factor. It only takes one dude/ette (let's be fair) to stink up the place.Just be smart about it. Take advantage of the hotel showers. Don't be shady with the soap! If it smells, wash it! Febreze does NOT fix the problem. SOAP IT UP!

I don't know about that dude. You know how it is with the weather. *keeps fingers crossed for beautiful weather...and girls*

there are several restaurants around the con. not to mention downtown SJ. Don't wonder too far. But believe that there ARE several places to catch a bite.

5 days and counting until I get to meet all u great people. feels like these last pre fanime days are the worst! they just feel a tad longer for it to be over with. This year is going to be the best so far. You guys rock!

first time at the Fairmont.  I couldnt stand those elevators at the other hotel/con!

i think its a good way to save money. i dont know about bringing a microwave. i was pretty shocked when i saw a rice cooker at first...but then it grew on me. maybe that can happen to the microwave this time.

simple solution: buy a case of bottled water. get some ice. keep it cold. if you have a hotel room. hotel water is pretty nasty. taste somewhat off.
