I have a slew of items I am trying to clear out. I updated my lj sales acocunt and would love it if anyone has time to take a gander at it.
I am willing to haggle down prices if interested in multiple items.
All items come from and have resided in a smoke free home:

So I couldn't think of anywhere else to post this, that would be okay to do so on the forums.
So here it goes:

This exact outfit is that of Yuki Cross-day uniform. Tag reads large: fits from a 14-16 Bust 401/2 - 41 1/2 inches (I'm a 36inch c bust and it was big on me but not horribly huge...so) Sleeves 31 1 /2 - 32 inches (sleeves were perfectly fine, just as the seller who sold it to me advertised) Waist 34 1/2 -36 (I think it was to a 36 though, it was a bit big on me and I wear a 34inches in most pants) Hips 42-44 (quite accurate and if your a bit bigger in the back this is perfect. I'm very much so an hour glass and it wasn't snug at all ) Outfit only at Fanime and mainly indoors aside from a VK photo shoot. Outfit has been kept in a garment bag since last worn and also comes from a smoke free home. The outfit does include the armband, which has never been worn. I didn't want to cosplay as yuki when I wore this, but more so a random day student. The red/sash bow is also included. Keep in mind outfit is in Mint Condition and only been worn once, so your basically getting it brand new.

I'm hoping to get 90.00 for it. If you feel thats too much, then haggle with me. I would also be willign to bring down the price if you were interested in any of these other items I have up for sale below:

Trying to earn some extra $$ so i can purchase tickets to fly down to AZ to see the Twilight film with my best friend.

I would love to see the examples you are talking about ^_^. and chun wasnt saying 3-5..she was saying 1.00-50cents.

I'll be sending you images soon ;) Prolly later this evening.

I seem to be getting the same answer all around on separate threads from other forums I am apart of. I think I'll just do a few lanyards and see how they go, otherwise start learning how to do different types of kandi bracelets like ladders. maybe even incorporate some alphabet beads into them. Otherwise I think I may just may make some freebies as such and give them away as "thank yous" to those who purchase my other artistic items at my table. Thanks for all the comments from everyone. lol maybe this just wasn't meant to take off like i wanted it to.

The pony beads I used to get are like $3.25 a bag for ones at walmart. The candy bracelets I make come from the $9 sets. They USED to be $8 somethin or other. (I buy glow in the dark beads in the bigger bags)

I try to make sets. Sets sell better and I try to put a design into them. (not just a pattern on string) Even if they are just 'plastic beads', you want to get the most out of your work. Like using two or more strands, or three etc. I think I still have examples of my Candi in "incredible things I can make". (If not I can send you images if you want)
I've got some pretty nifty beading I applied to 'plastic beading' from goofing around with glass beads.

You could very well sell your work for $7-$10, but that requires much more then just a pattern of colors on one strand. Wich in all honesty, Chun is right about $3-$5. That pretty much covers your material. You'll have to get very creative to sell them at a higher price. Especially if you want to make money.

I think you can do it. ;)

I mean, I don't use lanyards, but I would think that there have to be better text to put on them than just fan pairings. Horrible in-jokes or clever lines of dialogue or something.

Keeping with the Slayers theme, the full incantation for the Dragon Slave is a little too long for a lanyard probably, but something along the lines of, "By the power you and I possess... DRAGON SLAVE!" would be more interesting than what you have.

Agreed with this. WHARGARBL

To be brutally honest, these look like the kind of accessories, in my opinion, that one would make to COMPENSATE for the fact they cannot afford better-looking gear. It's a string with beads bound together with one of those Alphabetic Bead-sets that costs ~3-5$. The color scheme and accessories are not appealing (plain round beads...), and do not complement the phrase it supports.

If you were to sell these as is, I'd put the price range at a 1$ a lanyard, if not, less, for 50c a pop.

~Chun

Well placing a lengthy phrase as such portions of the spell for dragon slave was one of my first ideas. Sadly, that takes a lot of beads and space on the strand used. Do something that lengthy and all you will see is text and no beads vs a mixture of the two. Also , yes they are plain round pony beads, but I did take into consideration the color schemes that go with each phrase on those. IE the rock lee one, it is made out of his main outfit scheme (mainly green with then orange and some black). Then for Lina, red most of her outfit and yellow to represent her chest binding. As far as charing less, like closer to a$1.00, thats sad to hear, because that wouldn't even begin to cover the beads used, especially the alphabet beads. None the less, this is the sort of opinions I need to hear. I need to know if a lot of people feel/ think this way. this will help me better predict how this will go over and if its worth my time to string these up. fyi, these lanyards are suppose to be an accessory, just something fun to wear your con badge on.

Would you also take requests? I'd probably pay $7-$10. Not sure if that's cheap or expensive, but whatever. If it's custom, I'd go for it.

ya I have no problem with doing custom ones at all. I'll probbaly even be doing some as i sit at my AAt able this october for anime banzai in utah (I normally sell just neko ears and tails there). That makes me happy to read, that you think 7-10 is okay. I'm really paranoid doing this at my AA table for anime banzai. 1) because the con attendees are way younger than those of like fanime, ax, and ACEN. I'm talking kids barely in high school for the most part. 2) not sure if this is even an item that may go well, since its a first time idea for me.

So I have a slew of ideas for anime lanyards. Let me know what you think of my few basic rough drafts below and what you would be willing to pay for such an item...if you would at an artist ally table vs what you may consider to spendy.

they read:
"Naruto <3 Sakura"
"Rock Lee <3 Sakura"
"Lina Inverse" "Dragon Slave"
"Xellos <3 Amelia
"Pcoky.....its whats for dinner"
http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b214/lilrabwolf/animelanyards.jpg

There would be lanyard hooks in the middle for easy badge placement, and secure knots that would secondly be clamped over tightly with crimp beads.

an apron a pattern really inst that hard, that and have you tried shopping around for one before asking someone to make it? Only reason i know this is i bought one at the last minute at a bed bath and beyond, due to not having enough time to make my own for fanime 2008.

3 days away, I'm very scared :(
It's the knowledge of what'll be done to my mouth after they KO me that has me scared.
><;;
and for reference to moonkin:
turns out my right wisdom tooth did grow a root into a cone shape.  my left wisdom tooth will be drilled out (didnt drop yet, still in my jaw), but i noticed the root isn't really developed and it's about as wide as the crown  ??? will this be problematic?
Nope it shouldn't be. When i had mine out, non were developed yet. i had to be sliced and drilled out as well. You'll do fine. Just remember you drool like a fool for the first few hours after @_@. Sorry for such a late reply. I have been away from the forums for a bit.

Oye folks like that bother me. They're basically preaching their religion in your face. NO offense, but I am Christian to be exact LDS aka mormon and I don't feel its right to do that with religion.

As of right now..hectic..totally crafty-ness hectic. So I do loads of crafts and sell them. Right now I am making anime con/badge lanyards to sell at my local anime con. I am also needing to make a slew more of neko ears and tails to sell at the local anime con too, as well as online like I normally do so. This being, so I can pay off my credit card debt from the upcoming trip in July to celebrate my dads 50th bday with him in Arizona (I live in Ut). Also the more crafty goodness I make to sell oat the local anime con means more awesome Christmas presents for friends and family, as well as a head start stash fr attending Fanime 2009 =^_^=. Was so impressed with fanime and had loads of fun. So yeah my normal jb and when not working chained to my craft table with lots f water and the occasional potty break @_@

Finally got in to see my dentist today.  I have a mild infection and possible very mild dry socket on my right side and severe trama to the jaw joints on both sides.  She compares the jaw joints to hyper extending both of your knees at one time.  I told her it felt like I had been punched in the face...she told me, "Honey, that's exactly what happened."

Dentist says I probably wouldn't have had any complications if I hadn't had all 4 teeth removed at once.  She says I pushed to do all 4, I remember her saying "lets do all 4 at one time and get it done with"...so who knows.  Lesson learned, if you can do your extractions 2 at a time, do it that way.

I'm off work today.  Have to stay on ibuprofen and antibiotics for a week...then all should be good again.   :D

having all four done at once has its up and downs. I personally had mine done 2 at a time @_@. Looking back at it I would of preferred t have all 4 done..but the guy I went t wouldn't d all four unless I was in a hospital @_@ (Mine had to be chizzled out since they were unerupted...and old methods.). ya, don't understand that ...and that was like 8 years ago.

The mild dry socket would explain a good chunk of your pain. Infection...well of course ...thats why the doc should start you on antibiotics right after the procedure...to prevent that. Because you yourself have no way of keeping bacteria out of the extraction sites when you cant brush r swish back there @_@ DUH! on her part.
