I'm adding the finishing touches to my friend's Mr. Torgue cosplay tonight. He'll probably want to go to the gathering. I didn't think there'd be one for Borderlands, so this is awesome!

Friday, Saturday and Sunday I was wandering around as the RED Pyro from Team Fortress 2. Didn't really get any photos for myself, but I'm sure they're out there somewhere.

The bus line + lightrail is going to be your friend in this case. They run pretty consistently on weekdays, less so on weekends.

It's raining up here in Sacramento right now. Keep your fingers crossed that the storm system doesn't decide to go south.

- Survive another day and a half of work
- Finish fixing my props that broke after last year's Fanime
- Make a list of food to buy and actually buy it when we get to San Jose
- Pack cosplay (about a box and a half of props)
- Find decent clothes to wear when not in cosplay
- Make sure everything (read: everything) is ready to go by tonight because I'm leaving right after work on Thursday

I'll be wandering around as RED Pyro again.

What to bring:

A flat of red bull: To keep you going throughout the con.
A can of Axe body spray: To sidestep that whole "showering" issue (Hygiene's so overrated!)
A costco bin of red vines: to provide you with invaluable nutrients.

That's about it. Anything else is unnecessary. [/sarcasm]

Sarcasm aside, I know people that live by this during convention season. It's a little scary. :P

I haven't started packing, and my biggest prop doesn't even have the last coat of paint on it yet. *biggest procrastinator* And considering I'm leaving right after work on Thursday... yeah this'll be fun hahaha.

I'll be attending as RED Pyro, and my friend will be BLU Spy, from Team Fortress 2. I'll be sure to follow the thread for when time and place are decided. ;D

My group was 21, 22 and 22. Pretty even. :)

I was manga version Seras on Friday and Saturday. I didn't make it to the gathering on Sunday because my feet were destroyed by my boots. >.>

I'll probably bring that cosplay back again next year, with some possible improvements.

Okiedokie, this is a long shot since we didn't get too many outside pictures, but you never know 'til you try. I'm on the lookout for pictures of Ginko and Sui from Mushishi (episode 2), and of boy-uniform Mikoto and cheerleader Toru from Princess Princess, as pairs or singly. The few of y'all who knew who we were warm the cockles of my shriveled little black heart, truly.

I have a picture of a Ginko - not sure if it's the right one, but it was the only one that I saw. :)

I was only wearing it Saturday (for the Masquerade, so I wasn't out and about really) and Sunday for the Hellsing Gathering, but there were some random people who stopped me here and there.

I have some of you...

I got some old creeper following me around the dealer's room on Sunday when I was dressed as Seras Victoria. He kept making obscene gestures and telling me what he'd like to do. I grabbed my friend's arm and bolted. Me = .___.;;;;; "halp!"

so should we all meet up somewhere before and/or during sacanime?  It would be nice to actually set something in stone so we (*cough* I *cough) can meet everyone and reminisce >_<

I'd be totally down for a Sacanime meetup. My friend and I are trying to get more Hellsing cosplayers to go this year because of Crispin Freeman; how awesome would that be to have a huge Hellsing group?

I live in Sacramento, so Sacanime is kind of a given, especially since it's so cheap. I love my setup. I go to Santa Clara University, so I'm in San Jose during Fanime, and I live in Sacramento so I'm there during Sacanime. It's pretty sweet.

It hit me pretty hard last night, when I realized that there was no rave to be at until 4AM, and no friends left to giggle with until dawn. I actually had to get up and go to work today... and no one at work really "gets" the whole con thing, so I can't explode at them about it. Gotta keep it bottled up for another year.

Anyone going to AX or Sacanime this year? I'll be at Sacanime for sure, and still thinking about AX.

I did see a couple Alucards over the weekend. I didn't get to see the Walter and young Walter, Luke and Jan Valentine , and Pip

I hop that you guys will be cosplaying them next year! Becuase I might join in as an Alucard!
