yeah, he's got a point. i'd would think there would be more than last year since its now been released in the US (sadly ><). but eh,what can you do? you'll probably be able to tell the difference between cosplayers who have been watching for awhile and those who have only known the dub, or mabye not, i dunno

Well, I dunno about that... I know alot of kids who watch CN and the dubbed Naruto, and most of them don't know what cosplaying or convention means. The American cosplay scene is really quite small, and the average age of CN kids is really too young to care about dressing up and joining people in gatherings.

P'raps there'll be more people with just headbands, but I highly doubt there'll be too large an influx of actual cosplayers.

exactly. I think the naruto fans would be more likely to attend "Naruto Con" or something. We may get a few kids who live in the area who heard about the con, but there definitely will not be a big space filler of noobs.

ok so i have decided that i am definately going to do Kakashi for the Naruto gathering (i've been working on remaking my ninja shoes XD), so you can put me just under Kakashi, Blue Impulse ^^

anyways, any new and exciting plans for the gathering?

Well, there was this crazy elaborate plan to make villages out of cardboard boxes. O.o

that sounds awesome and a lot of fun.it'd probably make for some great pics too XD

i would love to see ZZ and Ramen and Rice again XD it would also be so awesome to get Orange Range or UVERworld ^^

as for other guests, id love to see Yu Watase (Ayashi no Ceres was my first manga, so i'd love to meet her) and the cosplay group Limit Break Cosplay (they've done stuff for AX, A-Kon, and a bunch of others).

so far, my cosplay list is:
-Kakashi (Naruto)
-Renji (Bleach)

I might also possibly do Kiba (Naruto) or FFVII AC Tifa, but i know im doing Kakashi and Renji for sure ^^

i missed the Bleach gathering last year >< but im defiantely going to it this year. i'll be cosplaying as Renji - i copslayed as him at Anime Destiny 2 weeks ago, so i've got my cosplay all set (my brother is making me the sword ^^) so you can count on me being at the gathering ^^

alright i found the naruto gathering thread XD i went to the gathering last year, but i had cosplayed Kakashi the day before so i didn't cosplay the day of the gathering (i had no idea there was going to be one, i was so bummed.i would have cosplayed sunday had i known ><). but im not going to miss it this year. i think ill be doing Kakashi again, but theres a chance i might also do Kiba (im not sure yet), but ill be there again this year at the gathering ^^
