Gender is the group you associate yourself with and what you feel you are based on society. "Sex" refers to the biological difference and chromosomes.  Probably which is why on state and government issue ID they asked for your sex, not your gender.

So I've just ordered multiple badges and it confirms I am group leader. I am fine with that, but I was wondering is there really no way to change the group leader? Such as an option to switch it to one of the members or something. What if something happens last minute? Is there no way to have someone from the same group to pick up the badges?

Had a great time at the gathering and at fanime in general!
I was the Maria with the bright pink hair, who didn't have the right shoes at the beginning, then ran away to go fetch them.
(Sorry, Sae, I introduced myself with my cosplay.com username instead of my fanime one xD )

It was really fun to meet you guys and hang out; it was a nice, small, cozy gathering indeed!

It was great meeting everyone and flying the kite was a lot of fun! Sae I think you were talking to me in the elevator of the Fairmont. I was Alicia with all the armor but I wasn't too sure if it was you.  :-X

I'm retiring the Billy head now since it barely fits my fat head now...but now I can return to my trusty white line painter! I had fun meeting you all!

I don't have pink contacts either. Not enough time and the last time I wore colored contacts my eyes wouldn't stop watering until after I took them out. It was pretty bad. I'm trying to think of a way to have sheers and make it pass at rovers. I may get a pair of scissors and seal it shut. I'm not too sure though. :(

I also still need to sew my boyfriends Sister costume.

That doesn't sound too good ;_____;
What are the rules against tools like sheers or a hoe or something?
I just want to pose with them, if they're too dangerous, I'll probably put them away after the gathering.

My friends usually go braless, but they use those little silicone covers for the nipples so it wont show poke through or if any accidents happen, it wouldnt be that bad lol One of my friends used gauze pads before too... BUT I'm too scared to do it and I like support in the front so I bought this a while back.

I don't know if it's low enough on the sides for what you would be wearing but this is a simple suggestion, it is quite expensive, but it is meant to last.
There is no back and it sticks to your sides, I use it quite often and it works very well, even if you aren't able to purchase this for Fanime, you should consider this for future cosplays if you want ^ -^

Same here! I have so many pink wigs, I bought another for Maria because her bangs are different and I have yet to cut it because I've been busy with prop making and college work >:(

i had a few of my friends talk to them /calmly/ and basically what he got out of them is that we're pretending to be someone were not (you know with cosplay).

Yea but it was great for people who had a passion for anime and manga to start off. I don't think there's a need to insult them.
We still have other publishers like Yen Press, VIZ, and SJ, but it is still a bit saddening because there might be less manga or anime products in bookstores along with less variety and exposure of the genre.
