This I can corroborate.

I haven't heard any word on price, however.

Panels and Workshops / Re: Panel Suggestions/Preview 2009
September 15, 2008, 02:00:02 AM
I'm thinking very much about hosting a panel on music gaming - juggling between all music gaming, limiting it to Bemani (e.g. "there's more than just DDR!"), or limiting it to pop'n music, as it's my current obsession and I wouldn't have to do as much work for a single game.

Then comes the part on who I should cater it to - the 'casual' crowd who may be curious about the game, or the hardcore crowd who look for song or genre titles in every word uttered.

Alas, in any case, let it be known that I am indeed considering a panel.

Why are you guys arguing about the potential of Lelouch and Suzaku in bed when Schneizel (well, and Gino) is the gay one here?

This.

Also, those warheads are totally going to make a black hole that kills everything sooner or later

OK, I'll go and post a thread once I get a handful of details sorted out :3

Meetings, Gatherings, and Get Togethers / Re: Halloween?

Great, I need something to do this Halloween since I can't decide what I want to be. This saved me from staying at home for halloween... possibly

If you can get away from your house to attend a Fanime gathering, I'll give you props :D

More like delivery, anyone? That way, we can also actually do stuff prior to and after the main event, unlike 3. Other than that, I guess we've settled on pizza for the time being. I'll also throw out the idea of an endurance event: Mountain Mike's also does buffet-style things on Wednesday nights, but I know not a lot of people can make it - it's a weekday, after all! - so

Barnes, Mountain Mike's is a chain, so they're all over the place. I think perhaps the closest one to you is the one off of Capitol Expressway (taking 87 and going east away from the Auto Mall; there'll be a strip mall with a MM's right next to a Togo's and a BR31).

Jerry, I'd like to kindly inquire about using your house; let's talk next we meet, shall we?

How about who can eat a whole pizza the fastest?

Who's down for this? There are three votes for pizza.

Pretty cool overall, but what's with the tiger poster?
You can't have a concentrated wall of badassery without a tiger in there somewhere.

They're not region-protected, you don't need a modded PSP.

In the meantime, the demo song sounds really Genki Rockets-ish. If I haven't mentioned it before, I like Genki Rockets.

Yeah, and that was against Maria, who also got 1000+.

Speaking of votes, I'm glad that Rein Zwei got as many votes as she did. ♥ She was bound to lose, though, putting her up against Konata.

Also, VOTE MIYAKO TODAY

Yuno made it to the end of her block last time; I expect a similarly strong performance this year.

Quote from: gmontem on August 24, 2008, 02:22:29 PMI think Matt named this "Gourmet Race" after Kirby Gourmet Race.

Correct! In fact, it's written right there on the Gourmet Race 1 OP.

Also, Gourmet Races 1 and 3 weren't really races, so those particular titles are entirely false.

In the meantime, I'll be researching a couple of things for Gourmet Race 4, which should take place before the end of the year. I'm aiming for a month and a half's advance notice. The only question I'd like to ask is would people rather have this upcoming event be a race (a la GR2), or a test of endurance (a la GR1/3)?

Hello, Quiz Magic Academy. Lookin' forward to a great relationship with ya.

(also, IIRC, Today in Class 5-2 only got a OVA run - can someone verify?)

You basically listed everything used at Ultimate Game Night except for one.

Splash Damage - When you play a Draw card on someone, the person before you also has to draw a number of cards equal to half the number of cards the targeted person has to draw. (For example, if you play a Draw Four, the person behind you has to draw two.)
-- Errata: The player taking the splash damage takes it regardless of whether or not the card is stacked upon.

Edit button, TC.

Episode 14 was great.

I won't say anything more.
