Not bad at all! I didn't know there were actually Bleach people there. Was this Bleach gathering or something? If there's something going on tomorrow [Sunday], I'm tempted to go crash it. =D

but only pix I took was with Hime on my phone which is my defult pix XD she was awesome hehehe
but her friend took some pix of us and there was also a photographer. Which I need to ask the person running the gathering to where to find them so I should have them up on FB cosspace or c.com by next week or so.

Or I could just keep asking Hime to hurry up and upload them XP

Is it worth my time? I saw some pictures and videos from past years and it's incomparable to Fanime.

I saw a few said they reserved their rooms, so have I in the Marriot, 122 a night, but I know myself and my crew can afford it so we'll do it. lol

But, yes this side of new years, fanime isn't that far away, we'll be meeting up before you know it.

When I looked at the prices, I thought, "OMG! How did the convention planners get it so cheap?" Then, after I booked them, I found out that they show us the price per night rather than the whole weekend so I canceled. Darn it. Oh well.

Just got my sister registered last evening and her number was just under 2000. I expected more people (and I'm assuming that the reg. numbers are sequential).

Already registered, but I really wanna change my fan nickname.

I hope this isn't a stupid question, but if I register now, do I have to send PayPal payment by the end of Dec 31 in order to get the $50 price?

Okay. So when did the check-in begin in 2008?

The link to the 2008 schedule seems dead. So, can I get an idea of the 2009 schedule? I need to find out if I should take the day off on Friday. Specifically, when does registration check-in officially begin?

Speaking of eating together, are there any Japanese restaurants nearby that have low tables without chairs? It might be expensive, but my budget isn't THAT low. ;)

I see your point about the single payment thing. Keeping people from doing anything other than simple will keep things from getting confusing and/or complicated. Again, it ends up rewarding the irresponsible (in general), but most attendees are probably in that category anyway.

Have two lines.

That is conceivable, but it will be difficult. We will consider it. Unfortunately, we already have two LONG lines. I was there for the fire marshal inspection. They initially only allowed ONE line. Concessions were made for two, but three would make for more logistical issues. We shall see with this one.

Wow, odd. I can't figure out why 2 lines would be more hazardous than 1. Can you elaborate more on this?

You know, we could always use help. My second is in Davis and one of the chairs are in Citrus Heights. Not a slight distance, but most work is done on the intarweb and only occasional meetings are needed until the weeks before con.

I encourage it.

Hmm, I'll think about it some more. What can I possibly do to help though? Keep in mind that I still have never been to Fanime or any other anime convention.
