Doctor Who was my major obsession before I became aware of anime.  Not that I'm old or anything, but I used to watch it on San Francisco's KQED channel 9.

I went on Black Friday. The parking lot was crowded and road construction made finding a freeway entrance a little difficult. BART might have been a good alternative. Arrived about 3pm and got tickets for entering the Pixar exhibit at 5:30. I heard they let 80 people in every half hour. There was interesting stuff to look at in the other museum galleries (and the gift shop) while waiting to get into the Pixar exhibit. Once inside, it was easy to get a closeup look at everything.
