I updated the first post with the date and time. I am going to try and compile the names by end of February. Hopefully, I can get it done, but I will try to post up Cosplay.com thread on first post too. Do you have the link for it?

I apologize for neglecting this thread. Please decide on the date and time and I will definitely update the first post with up to date. I've been busy and out of it for so long. Thank you.

KyraEnsui,  I think the consensus is 10:30am on Sunday.  Yukari from the Bleach group is trying to shift their gathering to 11:30am so we don't conflict.  I don't think we can go any earlier than 10:30am on Sunday since most people will be up late due to the Masq. the night before (assuming Fanime sticks to the same schedule as last year).  I also know that the Kuroshitsuji shoot and Afternoon Tea are also supposed to be on Sunday, so there will be some Hetalia cosplayers tied up in that...so a later shoot will be problematic.  If we go too late on Sunday, we run into the Black and White Ball.

Thank you very much for the message! I will update it now.

How fast do the hotels normally fill up would you say?

Last year, it was about month and a half after it was announced. I'm only guessing.

I always give the staffs props for using their spare time to help Fanime keep on running. <3 That's why most of us come year by year. It will be awesome to see it awesome with the new year. I can't wait to see it~

I haven't even put a thread for roommates yet because I knew that the hotels won't be up yet. This is my 6th year and by now, it's best to wait. The staffs will definitely let everyone know when it's up by Twitter, Facebook, fourm, etc.

Not only that, I know how much I can save up too by using last year's budget to estimate for 2011. So, patient is virtue.

Registration / Re: Group Pricing
October 25, 2010, 07:27:47 AM
They did the group registration last year. However, there was a few threads explaining about group registration. So it's best to search through like this one: http://forums.fanime.com/index.php/topic,11016.0.html.

Registration / Re: When Does Online Reg Start

As many repeat threads go, this question is always answered already. Somewhere late in the Fall, like late August to mid-September.

(I kind of already made a post about it but to make it official...)
This is Taiwan reporting and will likely wear her regular outfit to my first gathering. If not, then a Gakuen version since I'll be making that over the summer due to convenience (I have another con at early August and the standard Gakuen girls uniform is simple enough for me to get done by that time...).

I'll possibly also have a China and Japan with me but that's still pending. :P

---
Hmm. I'm not necessarily too picky about the time. Either Saturday or Sunday would be ideal in terms of which day will it be. But as far as I know, I'll be prepared having a parasol and/or fan if the hot weather turns up at any time. ahaha :'D

I kind of also wanna help out a little with the gathering if anyone's willing to let me. I got plenty of free time in my hands. (Or at least I think so.) hehehe *sweat* >.>;

I don't mind the help at all. I have this bad tendency to arrive late for the gathering and yet, early enough to check-in for the gathering.

Easy.  Hidari Shotaro from Kamen Rider W.  I took a picture with one Shotaro cosplayer and saw a picture of a female Shotaro along with a female Philip there.

Finding tokusatsu cosplays is a rarity in anime conventions IMO, so that was an awesome surprise.

Oh my gah. When was this? I can't believe I missed them. T_T

The person who checked me in said that it was their first year doing the waiver and I carefully read it which everything was always said in the earlier post. I have to say that this year's was better than last year since I stayed at the Hilton for a few years straight.

No horseplay. No overcrowding. Actually, everyone I met were nice and wave since we can't cram anymore. Beside the fact of inconsiderate people who believe should be using the stairs when staying on the 3rd floor than the elevator are out there.

I have to say that this waiver will work since the person who checks in are responsible for not only their actions, but others that they're staying with.

@Kyra:  Maybe we could have it at a later/earlier time, so it's not so hot?  I think everyone except the Seychelles cosplayers were burning in their outfits x_____X

It was unexpectedly hot and sunny. I will put into consideration when I post up another thread. Thank you for this suggestion!

Do not worry. It will be back again next year. From what I viewed this year's gathering, there are some improvements to be made like groups shots. Location was perfect for the huge size and shade. More ironing out, but overall, this gathering was great!

Thank you all for making it happen!

Hotel and Facilities / Re: Your Hotel Stay- 2010
June 03, 2010, 09:15:45 AM
Where we stayed: Hilton, 2 Double Beds (3rd Floor)
Was it good or bad: Excellent
Would you stay again? Yes! Most definitely

Other Comments: Beside rude congoers comments about using the elevator because honestly, I don't look like I'm disable or sick, but I have bad issues with my fear of stairs and there are times when my legs are exhausted from walking around the con with heels for over 5 hours.

The staffs were exceptionally helpful this year than last year. Checking in was a bit time consuming since I reserved 3 rooms under my name for my friends, but they really took the time to let me choose and decide on what floors they are available. I had to take 3rd floor due my terrible fear of heights and less time to be in the elevator while my friends are on the 7th floor. Housekeeping always cleans our room and gave us fresh towels every day especially when I asked for our beds to be clean and they did a great job.

At check-out, they sort everything out from the wrong charge of Internet usage from another room where they just charged the Fanime discount. Not only that, when my friend forgot her phone charger after we checked out, they let her go in with same key for a quick moment because all their staffs are busy which she was able to find.

I always love the mini fridges that is in every room with no extra charge. Only complaint is that their bathroom door is heavy and swings wide and quite small, but not much to do about it since I usually bring my own mirror to do my cosplay and make-up.

Parking privileges is great especially when the front desk told my friends and I that if we can't find parking in their lot since it is full and we have to park somewhere else, they will not charge us for that night. Very helpful and informative staffs they have. A complaint about parking in their lot is when compact cars have to take the parking spots for handicaps AND big vehicles like SUV, van, or trucks. I had to carefully park my SUV in a compact parking and that was not fun when I had everyone get out from one side since the other side has barely any space to open the door.

In all, I will definitely stay at the Hilton. I don't mind the walk at all since I barely go to the video rooms over at the Marriott. Plus, both coffee shops are nearby which it was a huge plus.

Thank you everyone for stopping by! It was HUGE! I want to thank to one Austria and Canada (?) cosplayers who helped keep it up and running while I was actually late.

Thank you, thank you everyone! All of you awesome cosplayers made this happened. <3

In case you're wondering, I was Sebastian with camera taking pictures. I was very nearby.

It is the same for all hotels to do the deposits.
