I haven't played nearby mode either ^^ hope to meetcha! I'll be around the AA most of the time, but once it closes I plan on hanging out on the arcade room or karaoke room till i'm dead tired 8D

I wish I could go, guys. REALLY. I mean, seriously, my cosplay is from an unreleased 3DS-exclusive game. But I can't go for more than one day and I chose it to be Saturday. So I'm wondering, since many people are so much luckier than me and can go on multiple days, if this event can be unofficially extended to Saturday?

Because I swear, I probably have the lowest StreetPass Plaza population of anyone...And I need to play Nearby in KI:U to unlock that Treasure Hunt. (Yes, I have not done that yet. What I get for being the only person out of my friends to own a 3DS.)

Wow, look at all these pictures! Thanks for posting them. My friend went to Fanime, but she had another gathering at almost the same time, so she didn't take many pictures of this gathering. (But, she got me a souvenir: a Sanae button. Although, she didn't know what her name is, so she was like, "Where's the person you fight in Touhou? You know, the one with the green hair and the frog and snake in her hair?)

The gathering was indeed huge this year, compared to last year when there was only ~15-20 or so cosplayers. That number at least doubled this year. Makes me feel even worse for missing it. *inserts many pictures of Parsee gazing jealously* If nobody is going as Sanae next year (I HATE being a double), I'll work hard to keep my grades up and hopefully will be able to go. Hope the gathering next year has even more characters! We'll have to keep working until we have all characters cosplayed! (Which is pretty unlikely, considering the sheer number of Touhous...)

Eh, sorry for ranting like this, but my ranting is just to openly express and get rid of my disappointment. I'll probably be doing it for a while, if you don't mind.

Sorry about all the confirming/unconfirming my appearance at the gathering. Last minute change: I will NOT be going. (Fanime is a waste of time and money. You're in high school now, so you need to focus on your future. You already have 2 B's and you tell me you want to go to Fanime and not study? At this rate, you'll never get a scholarship, etc. etc.)

Guess I'll sing Bad Apple next year. If I can go...>_> I'll still be Sanae, and I'm worried there's going to be a double next year and this is the first Fanime after the Bad Apple Shadow Style PV, so I REALLY wanted to go this year. Oh well, next year I'll be 16 so maybe I could volunteer? And hopefully, I'll have a wig by that time because if I went this year, I'd look like an IN Reimu cosplaying as Sanae.

If you really want to know, there's several reasons I won't be going. The most important one is the time of the gathering and the cost of a badge. I didn't pre-reg, so it's pretty expensive to go more than 1 day and there are 2 different gatherings that I wanted to go to. Last year, these 2 were on the same day, but that didn't happen this year.

Off-topic: Ever since I first saw their badge prices, I've always wondered why Fanime doesn't get any sponsors.

Whoo, my dad finally got a job in this bad economy, so it's pretty much CONFIRMED I'll be going. He really doesn't want me to, but I can. Watch out for the good girl. :) And for all you Reimu cosplayers out there, I demand a miko fight. ;D

Oh, the gathering's on Friday? Take me off the list, then. It's pretty much confirmed that I'm not going, anyway. Even if I were to go, I'm still in high school, and there's no way I can go on Friday.

Ah! I suddenly remembered someone had asked for a Len to sing Kokoro x Kokoro/Kiseki with at Karaoke somewhere on this thread. Just wanted to pop in to say I'm up for it~ I love Kokoro x Kokoro/Kiseki to death (which is why I'm making Scientist!Len after all) so I started learning his part earlier. :3

Aww, I got beaten to Sakuya. :( And I was almost done with my cosplay, too. I guess I have to choose someone else now. I want to be Shikieiki, but she's too hard...

I know! I still have leftover blue cloth from my Cirno cosplay last year and I have a white shirt that I separated the sleeves from that I was going to use for a Hatsune Miku cosplay, so I guess I'll be KOCHIYA SANAE! >:D It's so perfect because I'm the same age as her! ;D *hopes no one else is Sanae*
But the only problem is my hair. I can't afford am not allowed to get a wig and my hair is like Reimu's so maybe I'll cosplay as Reimu cosplaying Sanae?

I'll be (yet another) Rin, but because I'm hardly any older than Rin and lack the money and permission to attend Fanime, I might not come.

But if I do come, I'm planning to sing Kokoro for Open Karaoke and I was hoping there would be a Len that would like to sing Kokoro x Kokoro Kiseki with me?
