You should join an online community and get to know some people beforehand, and then arrange to meet up at the con. There are a few links to Discord servers floating around here.

You might have better results, but trying to make friends on the fly when I'm there never really pans out for me, although I attribute that to my own shyness and introvertedness.

I usually end up going to cons by myself so I'm down.

The USA men's soccer team failed to qualify for the 2018 World Cup.

Those guys disrespected the American flag more than Hetalia cosplayers who wear the flag as a cape. Downright embarassing...

It was very good for me. Registration was short and smooth (at least for those who pre-registered). Met up with some friends and hung around the gaming area. Bought some cool merchandise from artist's alley and dealer's hall. Dance was lit!!!

However, I didn't see anything that interested me in terms of panels. And a Your Name print I really wanted was sold out so I had to settle for one made by a different artist (although the art was still gorgeous).

Yeah, I'm confused by this whole thing too. The tiny QR code looks different from my original QR code. However, whenever I log in (via the edit registration tab), I am still presented with my original QR code.

The new Las Vegas NHL team revealed its nickname today. They will be called the Vegas Golden Knights. The name reveal took place in Toshiba Plaza, in front of their new arena, the T-Mobile Arena. Team merchandise went on sale immediately after the reveal.

Las Vegas was first awarded the expansion franchise in June.

The Golden Knights are set to play starting in the 2017-18 season. They will play in the Pacific Division.

So San Jose, how do you feel about seeing the Sharks skate in Sin City?

Hey, I will be attending the con alone as well, so I'd love to meet some new people. I'll be there from Saturday-Monday. I can't make it on Friday.

I feel you. I won't be able to make it on Friday but I'll be there the rest of the weekend. This year, the days leading up feel so long. Last year, Fanime came so quick for me.

Cadillac or Chrysler?

This morning, I was browsing gtaforums, and found out there was a new update for GTA Online that came out today. This update allows you to have an anime themed car.

To get the anime car, you need to get a Karin Sultan and take it to Benny's. Then upgrade it and you should see an option for the anime design under the livery section.

When you upgrade the car at Benny's, the name of the car becomes Sultan RS.

The name of the anime is Princess Robot Bubblegum. This thread is in the "Everything Else" section because the anime only exists in the GTA universe, not in real life.

Here is my Sultan RS. I made the car blue with black rims because I want the Carolina Panthers to win the Super Bowl.

A couple of ships from the anime Arpeggio of Blue Steel ships have appeared in the game World of Warships. The ships are the Kongo and the Myoko.
