I am glad I got a new job.  Time to start saving for Fanime.

Meh, never liked the Tomb Raider games to begin with.  The movie just screamed Indiana Jones knock-off to me (which is sorta what the game was supposed to be).  If I wanted to watch an Indie knock-off, I would much rather watch National Treasure or Angels and Demons.  It's sorta like making a movie on Max Payne, even though the game was supposed to be a mash-up of every single cop movie cliche.  Hollywood just needs to make better decisions on adaptations.  I have such low hopes for the GL movie being made, mainly because of the way the costumes would look ridiculous in live action, but also how impossible it would be to incorporate the rich cast and condensing the rich back stories into 2.5 hours. 

P.S.  To all the people that still want a Halo movie.  Copy/paste Starship Troopers and take out the plot.

If given the right backing and production team, I'd like to see Castlevania and Metroid movies.

It'll be interesting to see how the art style and imagery will transition over from the cartoon.

Spoony lives in Arizona and Nostalgia Chick is currently attending school at USC.  A couple are in the middle area of the US （Sean and Linkara). The rest are located in Chicago, Jersey, and New York. 

Mike J and Benzaie don't even live in the US.   :P

Hey, would anyone be interested in Linkara showing up to Fanime as a Guest of honor?

Currently, I'm trying to see if he's interested as attending as a GOH (Guest of Honor) or as a normal attendee. I could understand if he wouldn't want to be "mobbed" and having to be "in character" the whole time.

I've also sent a message to Angry Joe. I think he's thinking it's only as a "professional" invitation to be a GOH, as he was saying he was going to talk it over with Channel Awesome's CEO, Mike, to see if it's worth doing. Hell, if THAT were the case, they'd probably bring, Angry Joe, Linkara, and probably, The Nostalgia Critic. Honestly, while that would be awesome, I'm not counting on it. Although it's something worth pursuing. I'm mainly focusing on trying to get Linkara to show up.

I've let them know, that, this is a fan's invitation first, but if they're cool with it, and the Fanime staff is interested, then who knows?

Any thoughts?
