Ok for those who don't know this or are too young to remember, I use to host The Legend of Zelda Gatherings back in 2006 - 2008 then I drop off the face of the Earth as Link from 2008 had a stand in for me during that time, then many other host have come in and hosted. Well it is the return of Link, well this Link, as the Host of this gathering. I saw how big this gathering was during 2012 and I am proud of my follow Legend of Zelda cosplayers to come together like that. So with that said, grab you Master Sword and the rest of your weapons for The Legend of Zelda gathering 2013. It is that time again for Final Fantasy VII gathering, as well as make the other gathering look small compare to us. We should get to 60 cosplayers this year, because I am thinking about retiring my Jenova Clone # 10 cosplay after this Fanime and getting Zack ready for 2014.  So with that said, please tell me the name of the character you will be cosplaying as and the Final Fantasy VII version you will be. Hola, Spain here to say it is that time again to get this gathering in order and started. I was sub-host during this years Fanime and I would like to just take over as the actual host. We are in need of a few characters for this panel. We will be teaching dancing to the audience and allowing a few members of the audience to dance with a character. Who we have so far is William T. Spears, Grell, and Sebastian. We have three maybes which are Alois, Claude, and Ciel. Who we need is Elizabeth Middleford, Ronald Knox, an understudy Ciel, Alois, and Claude. Understudy means back up is all. So please help out where you can and be willing to dance and teach. We might have an optional Q&A section, but for sure we will have a 10 question quiz with prizes.

I know you need a badge to get into the events around Fanime, but will the convention floor be open again without the need to have a badge?

Attention Felicia cosplayers, this cosplayer wants to meet also hold a gathering for my favorite cat girl. I might faint if I see you, so beware of that. It is that time again for the Final Fantasy VII Gathering! I think this is our six time doing this gathering. I am thinking about taking this gathering to the next level. I know I haven't been apart of the gathering for awhile, but I am good at making gatherings and hosting them. Ok I am making a large chess game, because I can and I am basing it off of the table top verison of my home made rpg called Campaign 20/28. So this is how this game is going to work. I need characters and two players that will stand on the side line to command the characters. This is going to be story base game. The point of fighter characters is to weed out the weak and keep the strong, when the chess game ends, the true battle begins. The only character I must have is the Boss of the game, simply named Omega. He is you destory the world if you don't stop me villain. I need someone to be him only for this game. What is needed for the Chess game is 8 Pawns, 2 Rooks, 2 Bishops, 2 Knights, Queen and King for both sizes are needed.

JJ here, tell you all J&J Productions is in the Masquerade for the first time. I am in need of Legend of Zelda cosplayers that will help me with this skit, that is being made. The premise will be one of two things Link going back to Zora's Domain and getting his Zora Tunic. Or if I get one more Link and I need a Princess Zelda, pulse two random characters, one to save Princess Zelda as all four Links fight each other, and a random character that pops on stage and begins to sing, "I just ran, I ran so far away...Got to get away". Then get chase off stage by four links and the other, but I stop mid way and go back to Zelda as her back to my tree house, then do a victor dance when she nods. Then the random character that saved her before will just come back on stage and take Zelda away, then I notice this and run after them. This is if I get the cosplayers I need to do the second idea. For FanimeCon 2008 I thought of try something that hasn't been done before (that I know of) at a convention.. hopefully this might work. Besides the usual CvS, KOF, DOA, GGX, SC, etc. gatherings, with the popularity of the fighting-engine MUGEN, perhaps we could try to have a M.U.G.E.N. Fighting-Game Gathering at Fanime!

If you're not familiar with MUGEN, here's some info:

And there are TONS of videos to watch of these made-up matches on YouTube. From video-games (SF, KOF, DOA, GG, even Final Fantasy & Zelda)to anime (Naruto, Bleach, etc.) and even non-anime characters (Family Guy, Simpsons, etc.) there's so much variety to choose from.

Here's how the gathering will work:

If you're interested in joining the gathering, please state the character you'll be cosplaying, and if possible, the particiular game-version your character is from. (example: Ryu can be from SFAlpha, Street Fighter 3, or Evil Ryu) There are also fan-made creations of characters such as "Dark Chun-Li" which if anyone wants to make for the gathering, that's also acceptable.

REQUIREMENT: Since this is a different type of gathering, and there's lots of characters to choose from, I have a request: when you reply please post a link to a video, picture, or webpage that shows that your character is in-fact a playable character on MUGEN. Here's an example of what I'll be cosplaying as:

It's up to you if you can wear the specific costume for your character, but it's not necessary. Repeat characters & costumes are allowed. When it's time for the gathering: When we gather everyone up, we'll just do a big-group picture, and then do an all MUGEN guys picture and then an all MUGEN girls picture and then another group shot for those who arrived late. Maybe it'll be a big turn-out!

I want to do a skit and I was woundering, would there be people willing to help me out. It will be a Legend of Zelda skit. So is there anyone out there that is willing to help me pull this off.
