Well Seeing as i Accidentally made a gathering at Fanime heres the Details.
DATE: Sunday May 24, 2009 (duh)
Time: 1:00 pm.
Place: In front of the Fountains towards the Street to the side of the Marriot.
Thar will be a Sign to let you guys know~
What were going to do is still unknown.
Uhh I guess we can just play it out and see what happens.

I heard/read it was fun, I saw some of the footage from last year even though it was short I was still quite bummed.
We must all get together this year.
No one requested the room in time, thus no forum panel. I'm all good with meeting up with people at Fanime. Living so far away I love putting faces to names during Fanime, without the panel that makes it hard.
ehhhh why not! Love to chill wit the people I met last year and meet other forum members.

If you guys meet in front of the con center, where the fountains are, I'll show up since the Macross F Cosplay Gathering will be on sunday at 1 p.m in the same vicinity. If You guys move it somewhere else, then yeah, can't come, cause I'll be taking pics of the gathering.

I'm down for it, I've been a member of this forum for a while and I'd enjoy meeting some of the other maniacs that roam here. lol
Well, I don't know the con grounds, so yeah. But I agree with possibly NOT doing the meeting at the fountains, since I've read in other threads that pretty much every other meeting is in the same place and it's gonna be stupid crowded.
Granted, just about everyone meets at the fountains and there are a number of gatherings that happen there as well, but I would recommend meeting in front of the fountains, closer to the actual street, because no one ever really thinks to stray too far from the con grounds. Or we could say in front of the convention center by the 3 flagpoles close to the Marriott.
We could meet at the park across the street.
We could meet at the fountains, then move to a better and less crowded location. Cuz the fountains are like a major "you can't miss this" type of thing for people.

I may try to have a summer/end of summer lake gathering, as the water in the lake has come up and looks so nice now. Maybe have one in July. Too many bdays in August to try one and I'll be moving in september to Fresno. @_@
It all depends on fanime recovery time and all that nice stuff.
Also, my mom will be throwing a massive going away party for my bro who's leaving for bootcamp in September (14th). SEMPER FI! So, if it's okay with family, I'll throw up an invitation for that as well.

Right now, until June 25th, entry to the lake is $8 as opposed to $20+ bucks. I'll have to pick up info when I get back to the lake. I don't know if its for day use or actual camping. If it's for camping thta would be awesome, as I don't have any floor space for a lot of people. (unless sleeping in a big ol' tent under the stars is your thing :] )
If it's just day use, forget that. I live on the lake, people can get in for free as my guest. I'd reccomend carpooling though...

I am at my moms' again to drop off a charity donation for an auction this weekend.....haven't gotten to officially rest up just yet. @____@

I was roving around and only dropped by for 5 seconds, completely by accident, because Ari and Steve flagged me down. I remember I was antsy to run off to do something..but I can't remember what.
Any sort of outdoorsy trip, I have an awesome rape/pedophile van that's great for sleeping if you're short on room and people don't want to sleep outdoors. That seems like it'd be fun.

for teh camping-type thing, i have A LOT of supplies, and a 2 room tent that'll sleep ten (i can share). this should get some kind of planning bu i'm without a vehicle.

My brother is going to San Diego to Camp Penelton (sp?) He and his friends are going to boot camp under a buddy pact. he wants to be an engineer, like our Grandpa was. (Although gramps was army...lol)
Anyways, I was told that pricing for camping is way cheep for this month. I have to look at the pricing. Although, we could always camp out on the double decks and grass behind the house. The water level is rising back to its normal level.
It'd be free, since I live right there smack dab on the lake. I think It'd work out nice since we're all in need of recovering from fanime.
I'll start a Lake Trip topic since a few people are pretty interested.
