Forgot to say here that I had to chance Arceus to Joltik because of financial issues. ;) Maybe next year for the God of pokemon world.

I had fun, I was Piko Utatane today. (Several people mistook me for Gladius from Portal)
In any case I have some photos they will be up probably after fanime or if I can somehow make time between finals and then.

Just commenting to let the OP know that I've had to postpone my Arceus for yet another Fanime (>>; Money doesn't grow on trees sadly and arceus is showing to be an expensive cosplay). So I'm changing to Joltik, I was going to cosplay it anyway but yeah had to cut down on cosplay.

Elflady: Sorry it's so early but with the pickings for hours that aren't booked, I felt  that it would be best to try to choose something around the mid range rather than something so late not many people would like to come (considering late night activities) or too early because as we know Friday is a work/school day. I hope to see you and your daughter there. ^^

SweetNiar: We'll be glad to have you. I understand that it's it's a bit early, but with time constrictions, I didn't want to step on anyone's toes who already made events these days. ^^

*Do note that because this will be a 2hr demo/lecture this will not teach you everything you need to know.

If anyone has any specific topics they would like seeing discussed, please comment below and I'll see if I have time to go over such topics.

I know I'm coming into this a little late, but I do want to put in- I do think that it should stay the time it is. A lot of people have set their times around the original date (as is with most meetups).

I personally do not have a problem with it being 5 or 6, but I agree with the organizer; it's not really going to help an hour later mainly because of the check-in issue (do keep in mind that the hotels will be booked and things WILL go wrong with the hotels so it will be longer than you expect. Also keep in mind for those who have to change into cosplay and what not as well).

Things can't be set for every individual person, and with there being another convention gathering going on at 6pm that could cause conflict for people who may want to check out both. But that's just my two cents. Further, being an organizer of monthly meetups, it's very troublesome to shift times around.

And one last thing, later the time the darker it gets we aren't at summer yet, and that does mean that the photographers will have a harder time shooting during evening hours if they do not have anything other than kit lenses.

Bay Area Conventions is originally a group created by Foxberry on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=360567740380) that covers local events and conventions around the Bay Area. We have a following of over 460 people, and are always looking for more members. We meet usually monthly on a Saturday or Sunday during the Non-Rainy-season of SF.

For this event we will be allowing ANY sort of cosplay and anyone is welcome to attend and to find out more about us. We will be meeting for about an hour, hour and a half or so and then go out to grab food most likely.If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask.

When signing up please list what character you will cosplay and from what series.
