Right now I am trying to process some of the videos from the masquerade and the photos I have taken from Fanime. I don't have any estimated time as I have a lot of photos and videos and it is taking time.

I will just post a link to where I am going to push out the photos and videos.

Videos: http://www2.kevinphotography.net/events/fanime/2014/index.html

For videos from the masquerade, I currently have:
Maji Love 2000% Thrusting: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1xc0nk_fanime-2014-cosplay-spectacular-maji-love-2000-thrusting-sweatish_tech
Sailor Moon Burlesque: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1xjbl7_fanime-2014-cosplay-spectacular-sailor-moon-burlesque_tech

* These will take time, but I bet it is worth the wait. The list will be updated whenever possible.

From the request at the Cosplay Photography Facebook Group:

I am a photographer and is most likely going to go and help take photos.

One of the problem previously was that I had a conflicting schedule with waiting in line for the masquerade, but I think I found a friend that I could rotate waiting in line.

This appeared in my subscriptions. I know it is late; I am asking that also.

Yes, it's smaller and everything was on a smaller scale, but for us it was still enjoyable. And it was very well organized. I commented on it even before Fanime this year how well-organized SacAnime was for an event.

Yes, I'll second this.  I went to their last one at the Woodlake Hotel, and they had WAY more people than the hotel could handle--but they kept everything under control and it never felt like a mess.  Smaller cons are usually easier to organize, but SacAnime is probably among the best organized of any con I've been to, large or small.

Well, they moved to the Sacramento Convention Center, which should provide more room than before.

I am also thinking of going there for summer. I missed the winter run because I had conflicts with the days.

Luckily, I was able to find some videos from the local news stations there that were doing a segment about the convention (this is the winter 2013 convention, so you can get a general estimate on how the convention is before deciding)
Note: First and second video links looks like it was transmitted in the morning on a Friday, if you wanted to know. Also, hey that mobile suit is there...

A couple of tips for the those who are going, the area nearby has a couple of one way streets, a GPS is handy there; also, a lot of commuters are around the area (people working for large businesses or government), so expect Friday to be more congested (especially on a Friday afternoon on interstate or business 80)

I have a lot of photos and not a lot of time to edit them right now, so here is what I quickly converted from my camera's RAW format. Hopefully, I will get some time later on to edit the photos and upload the revised photos in the same flicker set as my raw photos.

Status: Uploaded unedited photos. Will revise photos when I get time.

Also, I recorded the Cosplay Spectacular and uploading those as soon as I have time to trim the videos. As the quality of the other videos I have seen are not as good technically (low quality, noise in video, lighting blown so wide that the faces are unrecognizable) and others have broken the no tripod rule (and I think most of them were not the press).

Status: Still uploading some.

And, if you also want the environment of the cosplay spectacular, I am uploading the extras that I recorded (which includes some thoughts and jokes that would have not have made it into the regular playlist).

Status: Clipped out the extras. When I get one of those day where I don't have time to clip, I will upload that.

Note: Again, sorry for the shaky video, I was obeying the rules and not using a tripod (I was using a DSLR and a shoulder mount to record video). Second, I was the one who questioned on the rule against the "no video rule" after someone questioned about that issue last year (http://forums.fanime.com/index.php/topic,17493.0.html) and set the ball rolling for the volunteer staff to reverse the rule on the no video rule. Additionally, to prevent any potential issues with some audiovisual content, I will likely skip sketches that have copyrighted audio, (unless I get a lot of requests or I post on another site that has less issues with audio).

Registration / Re: Picking Up Badges
May 10, 2013, 09:38:08 PM
It is stated in the Pick-Up for Pre/Early Registration Badges of the Registration FAQ... http://www.fanime.com/attendee-registration-faq/

You need an electronic postcard that will be emailed when it is a little closer to FanimeCon.

QuoteQ: What do I need to pick up my badge if I purchased my membership online?
A: Please bring a valid government-issued photo ID (such as a passport, driver's license, or state-issued photo ID card) or a current Student ID. You will also need to bring the electronic postcard that will be attached to your registration account before FanimeCon. (Driver's/Learner's Permit and Birth Certificates do not count as valid government-issued photo ID.)

Q: What is the electronic postcard?
A: It is a document that lists your registration information. It will be available to you closer to FanimeCon – we will email you and make an announcement. Make sure to print out the electronic postcard and bring it with you to pick up your badge.
